I love the design of WE knives but why must all their knives be huge. If they made more 3-3.25" knives they would appeal to a lot more people

Dallas Gonzales for sure. Would be the perfect length. One thing I'm not sure of is why WE and some other Chinese companies keep making such large folders overall.

Great review. Just recently found your channel. I've really been appreciating your insights. The pocket clip functionality, for example, is a good catch. Stuff like that can make a big difference when you are deciding what knife to care each day. Keep up the great reviews!

Beautiful design aesthetic. Echo your critique of the clip, plus blade length is going to keep many potential buyers from pulling the trigger - although a nearly 4" blade will appeal to many as well. The proprietary pivot is unfortunate for those who occasionally disassemble their knives for a good clean and lube (unless it comes with a tool for the pivot - then all is forgiven). Nice overview as always, ESB!

I'm really struggling with this knife. I vowed not to ever purchase Chinese but I think there's tremendous value here. This knife is very appealing to me and I find myself leaning towards buying one. I really wish I could handle one first. Great review bud, still on the fence though.

Great looking knife, I was very interested in it until I saw that there's no stop pin and the blade impacts the titanium. Don't you think this will become an issue after several months or even a year for someone like me who flicks their knives a ton?

If you're looking for a para 2 I reccomend the s110v version, I have it and the edge retention is awesome. Of course if you need something really fancy you could go for the bento box exclusive versions which come in M390. They also have the CRUWEAR para 2s which are getting harder to find but I know nothing about that steel. Hope you find one that suits your fancy, para 2's are great, I really like mine.

***** really? I will have to put them side by side. Seems there blade shape, handle shape and that they both go fully into the handle makes them "look" alot alike. Be it as I said the WE knife is alot plainer. So do you have them both? Do you have a Rike 1507? I have the 1507 and have seen the WE Knife in person and I stand on what I said.

I can't seem to get behind WE knives just yet, they are making some nice improvments but I can't justify paying $300 for a knife like this yet. I'd rather have a Benchmade or a really nice ZT or even a Microtech. Of all the designs they have put out this one is by far the most tempting to grab. Maybe ill consider it lol

Elias Nichols I picked one up secondhand with noticeable centering issue. the lockbar doesn't engaged if you open it slowly and the lockbar is a bit painful to close. I believe mine is one of the first runes however so maybe my issues got fixed.

I have another knife that's not a WE .. It's also in that steel it's super hard I dropped my knife taking it out of the pouch and fell onto the floor cutting through the one side of the soft side and the zipper on the pouch and the blade actually ripped through the steel zipper closing on the blade and never nicked or dulled anything part of the M390 steel it's super hard

Get a benchmade 940 and support American. I got it there are major difference but slim profile and the like are similar,. This is the only we that has caught my eye.

I'd have one of these if they didn't have such an ugly (IMO) pivot and screw design.. Normal torx would be great WE, thanks. I don't like thumbstuds much either so that's prohibitive on such an expensive knife. This as a clean minimalistic flipper would be awesome
