I tell this to everyone when fall comes around. Never plug a space heater into an extension cord, the wiring can’t handle the wattage and it will catch fire. Be sure to plug directly into the wall outlet. ❤

Laughed seeing the boys jumping on the pillows. Reminded me of a game I played with my 1st grade students. We had markers (pretend rocks) on the floor and I give one student a math fact if they answered correctly they could move to the next 'rock' if they missed they fell in the river where the alligators lived. Goal was to cross the river without falling in. The boys loved that activity.

Grateful,Mrs A, for the place Chad and family can stay after the fire. It is wonderful for neighbors to help each other. Adler is still thinking about fire. The look on his face is so sad or empty. He and Chad have such a strong , close relationship. I like the idea of the new house. Hopefully it will be tied down with very strong material. The animals look good, and the three pigs are such a hoot. Didn't see chickens. Love and hugs as always.

I am so glad the investigation was able to alleviate your worry that you could have inadvertently caused the fire. I have been plagued by electrical fires for most of my life. It's like a curse that just follows me around. I remember being 10 years old and waking up to that particular sound coming from my bedroom wall. To me, there is nothing more terrifying. I am thoroughly pleased that you will be getting a new home on the site soon. I bet it's going to be gorgeous! In any event, you are all together and safe and that is what matters most! We almost lost our house to a chimney fire. What saved us was the Chimdi was on the outside of the home fire department says if it was attached in the middle of our home we would’ve lost it, but by the time the fire department we got there we had the fire knocked down in the fireplace, but we still had 6 feet of flames coming out that chimney And when they investigated it, the people that we bought the house off of there was years and years worth of curios soak build up in it, so it was nothing that we did. It was the people we bought it off of but it was all fixed. I’m glad we didn’t lose any of our animals or family membersand I think God every day
