I have the same headaches as Chyna! I’ve found they are exacerbated by barometric pressure, because it’s related to my sinuses. What sometimes helps me is flushing with a nasal rinse, ibuprofen, and sleep. It’s so annoying though.
@meganooooo1782 ай бұрын
Does your neck and/or jaw ever hurt or feel tight? I get the same headaches and thought it was my sinuses but it turned out to be a specific spot in my neck. I see a physiotherapist that also does acupuncture and it's really helped. It also helps if you add heat and/or ice to the spot where your skull meets your neck. Apparently it's a really common cause for headaches behind your eye.

I fall asleep on my mats all the time, be it on the bed or on the floor. I've become accustomed to them to help me stretch out the back of my neck really, especially the dreaded pillow you guys all hate. That thing has helped me with neck pain and tension headaches more times than I would like to admit.

As someone without a lot of chronic back and neck pain, these *really* help me. I fall asleep on mine. It really helps relieve my pain when im stiff or one of my soft tissue injuries is in spasm. I find that places where there is more stinging, if i use that as a cue to relax into the mat in those areas, it gives me hours of relief.

Chyna, you might want to check out a Postural Restoration Clinic (type of physical therapy) near you for the headache behind the left eye pain. I deal with that same problem and found for me it was because I had a whole bunch of tension in my shoulder-neck area that was starting to pinch nerves which was causing the pain. Might be something to look into, hope you figure out what the underlining cause is for you. Hope you feel better!

Love the commitment. For me the acupressure mat and pillow is a staple. Nightly before bed sometimes up to 3x a day. I do a minimum of 40 min. 10 min was too short and was excruciating. My body didn’t have enough time to adapt.
@catherine_4043 ай бұрын
11:55 or so Chyna says, you need to use less detergent. TRUE. I discovered this on my own just because it seemed I had to use too much. Also, your SKIN may thank you. The purpose of detergents is to make fabric clean, so you do need only as much to get them clean, overdosing won't make them any cleaner. However, too much may not wash out completely, so your skin will get constant contact with aggressive surfactants. Which may lead to rather unpleasant irritation. A while ago I told my ex, or maybe even two exes, who had issues with irritated back skin, to try using much less detergent, not overdose. And it helped! Not entirely, but really well. Try half of the recommended dose. If your clothes get clean enough, try even less, if they don't, try using a bit more. Graduated scoops/spoons really help with measuring correctly and remembering the dose. Also, try oxygen powder stain removers, also experiment with the size of the scoop. Some stains go away with pre-washing with stain-remover soap, just a dab and a rub of the stain (wet the stain, rub in some soap, rub the cloth together with hands vigorously for a moment or two, and into the washer with other clothes).

Because that's pretty relaxing too.

I have the same problem with doing things I know are good for me. I suspect we all do to some extent. There are several things I KNOW make me feel better if I do them regularly (exercise, reading, yoga, less screen time, time outdoors, etc.), but it always feels like such a chore to get started. I know I'll feel better and that I'll be enjoying it once I get started, and still it feels like such a mental effort. I wish we all had a magic fix for self-discipline.
