When John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) was a little boy, he made a wish that Ted (Seth MacFarlane), his beloved teddy bear, would come alive. Thirty years later, foul-mouthed Ted is still John's constant companion, much to the chagrin of Lori (Mila Kunis), John's girlfriend. Though Lori's displeasure is exacerbated by the pair's constant consumption of beer and weed, she's not the one who's most disappointed with John; it may take the intervention of John's boyhood toy to help him grow up at last.

Ted is one of the few sitcoms with this kind of humor that I enjoy. y fact that nobody asked for Seth macfarlane was originally going to be an animated series but in the end it ended up changing to a movie.

Both Mark Wahlberg and Seth Macfarlane were scheduled to fly on flight 11 witch crashed in to the World Trade Center on September 11 2001, Seth Macfarlane had a hangover that morning and got the wrong departure time from his travel agent, he arrived ten minutes to late, Seth said in a interview: the only reason it hasn’t really affected me as it maybe could have is I didn’t really know that I was in any danger until after it was over, so I never had that panic moment after that fact it was sobering, but people have a lot of close calls, you’re crossing the street and you almost get hit by a car… this one just happened to be related to something Massive, I really can’t let it affect me because I’m a comedy writer. I have to put that in the back of my head, Mark Wahlberg was booked on flight 11 but his plans changed that day before and he canceled his reservation, he received backlash for stating in a 2012 interview, if I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did, he added that there would have been a lot of blood in that first class cabin and then me saying OK we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry. He issued a apology after family members of those killed on the flight expressed outrage

Boogie nights is one of my favorite movies and its Mark's best role imo, he's incredible in that movie. But given a lot of the things he's said before, doesn't seem like the greatest dude. Omg and The Other Guys is a great one too lol
