Love the “baking show“ and the cake analogy. Keeping up your humor and your spirit goes a long way to keeping up your strength and resolve! If you can make it fun it’s a little bit less like work. You guys are doing an amazing job! LOVE the time lapses.

Mixing in the various projects is interesting, and helps us understand how much work you are doing. Please continue doing your videos just as you are doing!👍🏻. As with all renovations, there is a huge mess until all the basics like walls, roof, and services are completed. It is hard to see progress at this point, but any of us who have done diy work understand the importance of getting the groundwork done properly. Great work with only a small workforce!👍🏻👏🏻

Andrea and Omar, this is a very exciting video because you’re making a lot of progress on multiple projects - I like this format! A big shout out to Simon because he’s doing incredible work on your mom’s room. Andrea, be patient and kind to yourself as you develop your garden - you’re on a very steep learning curve because it’s the first year so expect to learn a lot of practical lessons❣️

Hi love the way you’re doing your videos now. We get to see different aspects of your progress and that is very interesting. Keep up the good work. Cayenne pepper sprinkled over the top of the garden soil, will keep cats out. You can also do a tent of chicken wire over the top of each bed to keep other animals besides the cats, out of your garden beds. Plant marigolds amongst your veggies to keep insects away. ❤

Hi Andrea! I know you speak spanish so I am going to write in spanish if you don't mind.

Congrats on how much progress you are making on your house reno! One health advice though, wear a mask when pouring dry cement as it contains high levels of crystalline silica. Prolonged or repeated exposure can lead to a disabling lung disease called silicosis. Take care!

There are so many projects going on at the same time and each person has their project they are doing and one can see the progress in each persons project. The wall that Simon is building is amazing the stone work is very well done and blends in with the other buildings. A work of art. Omar and his brother are very talented and work well together, what a talented family. I love your veggie garden I think it will work out well. Have a great week and till the next one. I'm really excited for the garden! I'm not able to garden right now but I really love it, so I'll be enjoying yours instead. I don't know if your region does wood chipping for fire abatement (cutting trees and turning them into wood chips) but often you can get them to drop a truck load of woodchips onto your driveway for low if any cost. The chips can be so useful in gardens, as walkways, underfilling raised beds, and as part of a hot compost pile. And it's a way to use a local resource outside of landfill.

As in life often we have multiple things going on at the same time. So having multiple projects seems to be a more natural approach. Now with that said filming is a bit different. You might often film multiple projects and sequences at the same time but find as content creators it works better to show them independently. 😊 Almost like mini series that provide extra monetized videos for you and extra content for us viewers to enjoy 😉 aA win win. 🏆

I think your beds would look lovely if they were surrounded by a similar stone wall as the buildings…and probably be more secure in the long run. Just an aesthetic thought. More work though but also a use for the smaller stones you are not using on the buildings. Would tie in with the wall at the end of your front porch.

Carry on with the current format of including work as it progresses, even if its a mixture of projects, that gives viewers an appreciation of how much work is required to renovate an abandoned property. You could always reuse clips in future video that shows one single project from start to finish when you want or need to take a break from filming.

The piping to the boiler. Why first the cold water and place it left? In The Netherlands, the cold water pipe is always the right one and the warm water pipe is the left one. Even with cold water into the boiler and warm water going out. With installing the pipes you cannot get confused which one is which. Is it in Portugal different?
