I Worked with a Homeless Man for 30 Days to Change His Life - Here's What Happen

In this video, I share the powerful journey of working with a homeless family for 30 days to help turn their lives around. When I met this family, I knew I had to do everything in my power to make a difference. I offered them an opportunity to work with me on mowing overgrown, neglected properties in our community, and together, we worked hard to rebuild their future.
With the love and support of my amazing supporters, we were able to help this family get a vehicle last week, and now, we’re catching up with them to hear how their lives have changed in just one week. It’s a story of hope, resilience, and community coming together to make a real impact.

Today Al I got the news that my cancer is in full remission so it's been a great day. This is the 2nd time I have beaten cancer and have had 2 different types of cancer so all I can say to anyone going through the fight is have a positive mindset and never give up life is worth fighting for. Thanks Al. I am a guy who was struggling with a drug addiction and looking at 25 years in prison. I was given that second chance to prove that I not that guy. I have since found Jesus, and he leads and guides me every step of the way. I will tell you it’s a daily struggle but I never look back, only forward. Thanks for sharing. We helped a homeless family of five. Like you, we gave them work. They stayed at our house a few times, we fed them, let them do laundry, etc. Eventually, they got back on their feet. It's a blessing to help others. I think my hubby and I learned so much from them. It's a humbling experience. It makes you appreciate all of your blessings. Keep shining your light! I thought I would like the music but realized that the sounds of the weed eater, edger, mower and the scraping of the shovel is the most soothing when watching your videos! Hi Al. Because of you and how I'm designed, I am currently mowing lawns for 4 homes for free. I love lawncare, but I am studying so unable to work. I'm a mature Maori (Indigenous people of Aotearoa, Nz) woman with family and faith. We've never had money, but I'm grateful that kindness, thoughtfulness, and caring don't cost a penny, and I've raised 5 children alone on that principle. I have a friend who is in an abusive marriage. He doesn’t bring food in the house for her to eat, she finally got a job even though she is disabled and in excruciating pain all the time. I took it upon myself to help her financially until she got to her 3 month to qualify for health benefits. I’ve been paying all her medical bills, prescriptions, food bill etc. Now she is more independent and doesn’t need as much help. I feel good knowing I made a difference in her life. I feel the same way you do Al, I make it my mission to help someone every day. I send encouraging quotes to my friends that are struggling with health issues every day just so they don’t feel so alone. Your channel brings hope to so many who are struggling in this world. I have been struggling with PTSD, depression, and anxiety for more than 5yrs now. I help out with vets such as myself struggling with the same in the Saint Augustine area. In turn it helps me out knowing there is people just like me and has helped me open up more about my struggles. Watching your videos is truly motivating and even showed a few of them to the group. Sounds like your concern and caring heart was an answer to their prayers. No music please. I come for the sounds of the lawn equipment. That relaxes me. The music was very distracting for me. If I wanted to hear music I'd turn some on. I come here for you and for the sounds of the mower, weed eater, edger, shovel, etc.Those are the "music" I want to hear. Along with any birds in the background. You help millions around the world Al with your videos. Keep posting weekly please with no long breaks please. That makes the difference in my world. You, Spencer and Kevin have helped me deal with my grief of losing my brother right before Thanksgiving in 2023. I came upon Spencer's channel first. Then you and Kevin (The boring channel) came along afterwards. The videos that all 3 of you do help to relax me and give my something positive to take my mind off the troubles of the day. Thank you.

Yes! I definitely believe in second chances! I had 4 people in my life that believed in me & gave me a chance that changed my life forever! I think of them all the time even though I haven't seen them in many years. And I pay it forward whenever I can. I'm in my 60's now & feel so blessed. You do make a difference in the world!

I have taken that challenge long before I was one of the first 1k subscribers. I was a volunteer with a well known charity. I've hunkered down in 5 hurricanes, tornadoes, a derecho in my own State, wildfires and a ice storms, and floods, one being in my own State. I had to work during the flood, the water had receded from the parking lot and turned into a staging area for the helicopters pitching sand bags around the water plant. I was on one of the many commemorative t-shirts. I always tell them I'm merely there to give them a hand up, not a hand out, unless it's for a hug. 😊❤

Loved the music!!!! My son was given many chances to start over but it took 2.5 yrs in prison to open his eyes. He's been out for over 3 yrs, happily married and is the person I always knew he was deep inside. He has severe PTSD and can't cope with more than 3 or 4 people around him but I pray someone will be willing to give him a chance doing lawncare because he enjoys it. ❤❤❤ Much love to you, Al!!
