Always on a Journey

Күн бұрын

Join us during a fun travel day as we make our way from Dumaguete to Moalboal in the Philippines. This journey includes tricycles, a ferry and a bus ride. It was definitely an interesting ride but unfortunately our plans changed and we decided to leave Moalboal much earlier than we had planned. Not to worry as we will be back in the Phlippines in June for a longer period. Moalboal will definitely be at the top of our list of places that we plan to visit.
We want to say a massive thank you for all of the support we have received in the Philippines. We have truly fallen in love with this country and met so many lovely people. We are leaving the Philippines to travel to other destinations for a short period but we will be back soon (In June) and can't wait to visit some of the places many of you have suggested in the comments.

You are my new favourite vlogger. I love how kind & respectful (and detailed) you are whilst travelling in PH. Also, you speak so nicely and slowly that even with a British accent seems like the locals can understand you clearly!

I like that you show the actual travelling in your videos. It’s really like I’m travelling with you guys. Riding the boat, tricyles and bus. 😊 As for internet/data, I can suggest… it might help if you can get your own pocket wifi, which is pre-paid wifi. When you’re in Manila again, you can buy it in malls (like in greenbelt).

@@AlwaysonaJourney The popular ones are Smart and Globe pocket wifis. To know which one, you can ask what network has stronger signal in the area- Globe or Smart.

@@AlwaysonaJourney May I suggest you ask locals on the street the price of a tricycle ride before you flag one down. You are being vastly overcharged. Having lived a long time in the Philippines, I can tell you that most people are fair, but never trust a taxi driver or tricycle driver to quote you a fair price. They love foreigners because they can charge huge amounts. Most trips should be under P30, and if it's 2 km or less, should be closer to P20. Ballpark, it should be P10 per km. even for longer trips.

They have really good internet in Moalboal, the best in the PI probably, it's inside that ex-pat village, where you can do the swimming with the sardine area.
