Subscribed! My wife and I are moving to Vegas in a couple of months and we’re loving your videos. They’re helping us see all that we can’t wait to do out there, hiking, biking, off roading, snowboarding and just opening our eyes to so much more than we thought was available.

Yo that is awesome and that's exactly what we hope to do with our videos! Vegas is so slept on for its recreation side, more videos on the way! Where are you two moving from?

@@austinandsam Moving from the Chicago area so really looking forward to the weather and scenery change. Way more outdoorsy options to fit our lifestyle than we have now. Looking forward to the new videos!

I would say a big part why downtown came up was thanks Tony Hsieh, RIP. Without him, it wouldn’t be what it is now. I was born and raised in Vegas and Vegas has definitely spoiled me. Lots of restaurants, things to do, up until recently low cost of living, and open 24/7. It’s weird to me when I go to another city and everything closes early lol. Definitely love our city. Although… the summers are always harsh. Need to get a second home somewhere fresh to simply escape Vegas between June to September lol. Thanks for another video guys!

I wanted to include the downtown project as part of the story but wanted to keep it short and simple haha truthfully the city didnt have much of a hand in downtown until more recently, it really was Tony who shouldered the weight of reviving our favorite part of town. I remember moving to OC and one night trying to go to cvs at 11 pm but it was closed and being like wtf haha We try to stay in the mountains or lake as much as possible during the summer 😆

It’s totally understandable that you wanted to leave and find your path in a different town. Sometimes we need to move away from something to appreciate it more in the future. You gained a different perspective and now you embrace the city which you wanted to leave. This video was nice and short in how it explains a bit of your story. But in that shortness it carries so many lessons. I’m 58 and my health is declining rapidly (I’ve made my peace, etc and I’m embracing whatever is next). But in the last few years there has been an explosion of wisdom that has landed on my head. Everyday is a chance to gain a better perspective within our own worlds and especially within the greater community that is the Earth. You & Sam are making the city you love into a more open and beautiful place. And the greater world will gain from that. Thanks for sharing a bit of your lives with us all. ✌🏽❤️🍄

Hey Alicia!! That's the goal with this video (and hopefully the videos going forward) Theres so much to vegas that doesnt get shared, there's so much positive good things out here that doesnt get talked about. Let me know if you ever make it out to the Wetlands!

This video was shot between the Sony a7s3 and my iPhone. The camera is half of it, the other half has been learning proper settings, composition and lighting but it’s all slowly coming together!
