TTA being there with a camera was the LEAST of their issues. The lack of professionalism and knowledge was one thing. These people were sloppy, unkempt, and basic. They had the security guard sitting at a rickety desk out in the lobby, and when he was interacting with James, he sat his dusty ass on his own desk. And to see him slamming doors and acting "unhinged" like James said, was so telling. There are some people who "have a job" or "have a career", and others who 'GO TO WORK". This security guard goes to work everyday, sits on whatever he wants to put has ass on, skins and grins with the basic chicks behind the window, mean mugs whomever comes in and does something he doesn't like, stops and gets him a few cans of bud light on the way home, and expects his wife or girlfriend to service him arbitrarily because he "go to work e'eryday". And these dumb dumb cops came walking in looking all shriveled up and pale like they just came from the YMCA swimming pool. Yet again James had to educate people on HIPAA and FOIA. Why on earth don't these people know this stuff yet? The fact they didn't know what HIPAA or FOIA is just ridiculous to me. They should give a quiz and write up certain people for not knowing what's up. If you're customer facing there is no excuse for you not to know these things. And THEN the Sergeant came through talking stupid, even after you quoted him the statute. STATE properly IS PUBLIC property. I'm from Ohio and I read both the statues referenced here and one had nothing to do with the other because the KEY word was TRESPASSED. The officer was focused on State Supported, which was irrelevant. That State FACILITY was open to the PUBLIC on specific days and times, and as such, outside of the breaking of any law, one could not be CRIMINALLY TRESPASSED from said facility. The fact that it was STATE funded, didn't help the officers case. That makes them even MORE culpable for upholding the citizen's rights.

I think what sort of got buried in the mix as soon as the officers arrived, was the fact that you were legally filming. Thats what started this entire fiasco. It then turned into needing to conduct a FOIA and them thinking you were taking too long. Great video, keep doing what you're doing. I just think the freedom to record was a little foreshadowed here and needed to be more discussed.
