this was sadly one of the vans where our card corrupted and we could only rescue a certain amount of files, very frustrating! They're called Veggie Van Life, their details are in the description :)

some great looking Vans...BUT none have bathrooms showers toilets etc?? phew would be such hard work staying in a town? JUST so nice to have a hot shower . my tin top vw t4 has shower just a large 6 gallon plastic bottle with 12 volt submergible pump. extends out of drivers door...so an outside shower..Im planning to build a slightly bigger van .perhaps a Fiat ducato..great video

Quite a few did have bathrooms, but I suppose it's personal preference whether you want one to take up space etc...we don't have one in our van and it was totally fine for full-time living (we have a portable toilet which I think is more than enough!). We're still debating whether to include a proper bathroom in our next van build...we currently have an outdoor shower which works just fine 😊

Hi Lisa. A few of them have toilets and or showers. A lot of people would prefer to use public toilets or go in the wild rather than having a toilet in such a small space! Re showers - some people use those solar showers outdoors, or they stay in campsites every few days or make use of showers in service stations or leisure centres.

Long wheel base sprinter 2011, going to have a bed that moves up and down, so i can fit my kayak and motorbikes in, so far built a bench seat for electrics , doubles as a second bed, in the process of making a glow in the dark lichtenberg Mercedes sign table lol no electrics yet no work surfaces or overhead storage , i have still managed to take three months so far if you have an email address i can take some pics thanks for the reply.

Another great video (and yes a little old, I am behind). What is your take on diy vs RV? I see you guys browsing around looking to both "sides" so to speak.. From the many US blogs there seems to be sort of two different communities over there, from those converting a school bus to those buying the 100.000$ ready made RV, however I am not sure whatever there's the same clear line in europe? Seeing this video (and many of your other videos) it seems that the "standard" sprinter van is a majority within the diy community with less diversity than you would see in the US (diversity like bus conversions, horse carrier, old ambulances etc). Is there even a sub grouping between the "standard" van conversions and those being more creative converting other kind of vehicles? I am curious as a life on the road is a dream for whenever we will return to Europe (living in India), however we would prefer becoming a part of the diy community if there's such a thing, and.not end up in the (in my mind) boring RV segment. If there's a podcast or vlog where you have discussed this topic in depth in an European context please let me know, otherwise an idea to talk a bit about your observations.
