To answer your question, No one does it better than the Bee gees..They are legends , they are not only amazing singers ,they are outstanding songwriters. They wrote all of their songs ( their catalog has over 1000 songs) and they have wrote songs for many other artist, dolly parton,Kenny Rogers,Diana Ross, Barbara Streisand, just to mention a few. They've sold over 200 million albums worldwide and have been inducted into the songwriters hall of fame along with many other prestigious awards.( Too many to mention) They have graced us with music for over 5 decades and are unmatched by any other artist, in my opinion. Not sure what you've listened to, but The Bee Gees are in both the Rock and Roll and Songwriters Hall of Fame. They've written over 1000 songs for themselves and others and have 9 #1 songs for themselves and numerous #1's for other singers. They started recording in the late '50s and had #1 hits in almost every decade through 2000s. the 60s To Love Somebody, the 70's so many during the disco era, Staying alive, Jive Talking, Fanny Be Tender With My Heart, Too Much Heaven, Tragedy, and many more.

Nobody does the falsettos like the Bee Gees. Absolutely not. The vibrato is hard to do with a falsetto, but they all can do it. Incredible!!!

@marriage4dummiesreacts Thanks for getting back on The Bee Gees!!!!! This was the 3rd of the 6 straight #1 songs in a row by them. It stayed at #1 for about 8 weeks. Night Fever was from the movie “Saturday Night Fever” with John Travolta. Those #1 songs were: 1. How Deep is Your Love (also from the movie) 2. Staying Alive (also from the movie) 2. Night Fever 4. Tragedy 5. Too Much Heaven 6. Love You Inside Out But they had hits before those as well as after! So try: 1. You Should Be Dancing (video you’ll see their 4th brother performing with them) 2. Jive Talking 3. More than a Woman 4. Fanny Be Tender (one of my favorites) 5. You Win Again The Bee Gees were one of, if not, the only white band back in the day that did falsettos. A lot of black bands did it as well, but Barry was voted as having one of the absolute best falsetto voices ever. And just think…they started singing in 1958 and he didn’t develop that falsetto voice until around 1975!!!!

Not only are they brothers, but they have been performing together since the twins (Robin and Marice) were 12 and Barry was 14 or 15. They actually broke up for 18 months around 1970 (this was after all their 60's hits like "To Love Somebody" and "Massachusetts"). They started missing each other so much, they all called each other, agreed to get back together, and never split up again. What would the music world be like if they had never gotten back together, a lot poorer for sure.

This song is from the movie, Saturday Night Fever. It's played at a disco in the movie and there is a dance that goes with the song. If you watch the movie you'll see the dance or you can catch it on KZbin. The Bee Gees wrote several songs that are in the movie and they perform four of the songs however, they were never a disco band like some people think. The Bee Gees started recording songs I believe in the late 50's or early 60's, and continued for a long time after Saturday Night Fever was released.

In interviews, the Brothers Gibb ( the B G s) said they had many influences when it came to the falsetto which was popular at the time and named the Stylistics and Frankie Valli as influences of using the falsetto voice. (The Gibbs all have a beautiful lower range too.) A falsetto lead was popular in the 60s and 70s but groups did not imitate the BeeGees. The Bee Gees were not the first & therefore not imitated. The Bee Gees were masters of many genres, dance pop ( disco), R&B, folk, funk, country, adult contemporary ( an actual category back then), and soft rock. Please react to the Stylistics "You are Everything", or " Betcha By Golly Wow" to hear their Falsetto Lead singer. Try Donna Summer doing "Last Dance", "I Feel Love (a song that actually changed European music)", "Heaven Knows", "On The Radio", "Bad Girls", and "Hot Stuff', all very big hits for the Queen Of Disco".

Andy was the best of the entire Gibb brother's Andy was my crush Y'all can have Barry. I hate that Andy was always in Barry's shadow and he didn't like it either. Andy was very talented in his own right and no one can take that away from him. Barry was on bad terms with Andy when he passed away Barry tried to fool people into believing his love for Andy was real his love for Andy was FAKE he only acted like he cared when Andy passed away when Barry talked about Andy he tried to cry on cue. Barry was on bad terms with Andy due to Andy's drug addiction and Andy adored Barry , admired him ,and Barry loved Andy as well , enough to write and help write some of Andy's biggest hits and sing background on most of Andy's tracks, the entire family were extremely close , not quite sure where you got all your info but not correct. It was Barry who encouraged his younger brother to pursue his interests in music and even gave him his first guitar.But Andy, who idolized his eldest brother, was unsure of his talents, despite constantly receiving assurances from him. Matthew Hild (the biography of Andy Gibb) said Barry adores his brother and believes in his talent.Andy's role models were his brothers, especially Barry. Barry wrote Andys songs (with him) and Andy told in an interview that Barry had written the whole song Love is thicker.... and asked Andy for the title. Barry also had a title for the song and Andy changed a SINGLE WORD, but Barry STILL listed him as co-writer! The problems with Andy were bc of his DRUGS, he was a junkie and this had NOTHING to do with his brothers He had the wrong company and a weak character, don't blame others, you have no idea about addiction/drugs!!!😡😡😥

To set the record straight, Andy had been clean & sober for over a year, after going through treatment a 3rd time in Jan '87. Barry said when him & Mo went back in the studio with Andy to work on his new album that June in Miami, they felt like they had the old Andy back. They wrote & recorded 4 songs with him, & it was on the strength of those songs that Island Records in London agreed to a tentative deal. That's the only reason he was in the UK & stayed at Robin's, as no US record label would sign him, after recently filing for bankruptcy. Question I've always had (& likely Barry as well) is why didn't Robin give him a hand with writing, especially after Andy told Robin & their mom it was getting him down? Think we all know he would've never turned his back on Mo. Andy's last bout of alcohol is what ultimately ended his life, as he'd been fine for over a year in Miami.😥
