The rescued orangutans are so fortunate to get this fresh produce, with the help of local farmers. If each orangutan eats an average of 5 kg of fruit and veggies a day, it gives you an idea of what the wild orangutans must forage. The ones at the rescue centre need all training they are given to survive in the rain forest.

Once I've supplied ration to local zoo, the dietrician is so meticulous and the range is varied, from maggot to napia grass. Contrary to popular belief, carnivorous animals is barred from road kills on their menu. Younger ones have live chicken in their diet, serve the purpose to learn 'food hunting'...behind bars actually. Bull frog is another 'learning material' for python. They weighed every menu and add up certain vitamins...thats why no visitors allowed to fed animals in zoo
