Gothic 3’s performance is still not great after all this years. George, a member of our team, is doing many improvements to create a better experience. You’ll also recognize this changes in the CSP. This video compares Gothic 3 Vanilla with and without his improvements and Gothic 3 with Content Mod 3.1 with and without his changes. Especially pay attention to the improvements concerning lags caused by loading while playing.

wow, was ein deutlicher Unterschied. Schön, dass Gothic 3 weiter entwickelt wird, nach ELEX 3 würde ich bestimmt mal wieder gerne ein Gothic spielen :D Dann endlich mal mit potenter Hardware auf höchsten Details ;)

Ihr seid der Wahnsinn! Das ist mitunter ein Grund warum ich Gothic 3 nie lange gespielt habe. Was habe ich mich immer über die langen Ladezeiten, Ruckler und dergleichen aufgeregt. Danke für dieses Tolles Weihnachtsgeschenk :)

George really hit it out of the ballpark with this one, amazing achievement, playing gothic with this patch has been downright pleasant to experience, I got used to all the stuttering and spent years tweaking ini files and unpacking .paks and all kinds of mods to try and fix this game as best I could, George strolls in and changes 3 damn files like a god damn boss and fixed 90% of the remaining issues I had with this game, cant wait for CSP to come out been waiting a looooong time for this one 😅👍

ich sehe es noch kommen, dass ihr die Speicherlecks schließt und das Spiel auch mit extremer Sichtweite und vielen Assents im Speicher lange und ohne Abstürze läuft :)

Было бы неплохо создать какой-нибудь эффект для телепортов, к примеру, чтобы экран полностью заливался светом в момент перемещения. Чтобы визуально это не выглядело, как зависание игры на несколько секунд.

This patch achieves its best potential in combination with a lot of content mods and questpackage inkl Rache de3s General Lee (CP1.75+U, QP4.2+U,CM3.1) a cleaned up decompressed and optimized pak-files (deleted useless data in g3 folder =5,33GB) plus at minimum 6 GB Ramdisk (if you have more than 24 GB RAM). The differences between with/out multiuniverspatch are astonishing.

Würde bei G3 leider auch nicht helfen. Du bräuchtest eine CPU mit extremer Singlecore-Leistung für bessere Performance ;) Die Grakas sind bei G3 tiefenentspannt.

Das war so ziemlich das Beste, was Gothic 3 hätte passieren können. Nun bin ich mir echt nicht sicher, wie Türchen 24 das toppen soll, außer mit einem Release Datum aber da mache ich mir nix vor, das wird eh nicht kommen haha

Yeah I had similiar results. Had to uninstall cm because loading took like 2 minutes after playing for some while (i had the feeling it took longer, the further along my save was).

Interessant Arbeit. Aber woher nehmt ihr diese schreckliche unpatch Variante? Bei mir sah das seit CP nie so aus und CM3.1 braucht ja auch den Community Patch, daher verstehe ich nicht so ganz die Aufregung hier, da mir das Original künstliche schlechter gemacht aussieht. Bitte nicht falsch verstehen finde es super das ihr noch an G3 arbeite und weiß eure Arbeit zu schätzen, nur so schlimm wie hier im Video waren meine nachladeruckler und Ladezeiten nie.

Ich würde vermuten der PC auf fem das aufgenommen ist, ist nicvt der beste. Zumindest ich hatte bei meiner alten Gurke von Rechner nicht so lange Ladezeiten bei der Content Mod. Aber keine Ahnung.

Puh also ich kann das von meinem G3 schon klar bestätigen, dass die Ladezeiten und Zwischenruckler heftig sind. Glaube kaum, dass die vorgeführte Version künstlich schlechter gemacht wurde. Und mein Rechner ist echt in guter Ordnung. Spiele es immer maximal gemoddet, das spielt sicher zusätzlich noch ne Rolle bei den Rucklern und langen Ladezeiten. Außerdem komplett auf SSD installiert. Wenn der Patch kommt werd ichs auf jeden Fall ausprobieren.

Ist ein geiles Projekt. Aber so langsam glaube ich das ihr da nie fertig werdet. Bzw. selbst wenn. Interessiert das denk ich dann keinen mehr. Aber trotzdem. Cool das ihr das macht :)

Looking good! Gothic 3 is such nostalgic game that i even fondly remember the tremendously long loadings on an old laptop without community patches which sometimes took few minutes. Now you taking away my childhood memories :P Will there be also plans to release this standalone or its only integrated in the full mod?

It is crashing my game when I save game sometimes. I was always playing with 1.75.14 patch and Content Mod 3.1, my game doesn't crash with it.

You compared it to no patch, but what exactly does that mean? Release version of the game or the previously latest patches made by the community? Regardless of the margins I thank you, but I wonder if you're really comparing the right way

The basis for the two comparisons is the following: Vanilla = Gothic 3 1.75.14 (with G3CU decompressed .pak files) CM3.1 = Gothic 3 1.75.14 + CP1.75 Update Pack + QP4.2 + CM3.1 (with G3CU decompressed .pak files) The only difference between the "Patch" version and the "No Patch" version is that the former has the Parallel Universe Patch installed, while the latter has not.
