Dead on about finding the correct clientele. As a business owner myself(eCommerce) I value my time a lot and have no problem paying people to do what I don’t want to do especially when it would cost me more to use my time and do it myself versus paying someone else and using my time to make more money. Man you guys in the comments are the people he’s trying to avoid. Having the “Resources” means having the money. If you’re poor you don’t have the money. There’s nothing wrong with that, but pressure washing is nearly a luxury, if you can afford it it’s worth it. He’s absolutely right about time, money, and the people he works for. I could mow my lawn, OR I could use my resources to have someone else do it and allow me to do other things AND give money to local workers in the community. If I don’t have the money, I’m mowing my lawn. That’s not an insult, that’s a fact. Stop being so delicate. You are not the target customer, don’t window shop and complain when you get called out.

Expenses are minimal after the initial investment. I developed a system like this back in 2001. Total for the equipment was probably under $2000. That’s assuming you already have a truck to haul everything. The water fed pole definitely saves a ton of time and ladder work but that obviously doesn’t apply for the inside. You have to work a ton in the summer months if you live in a place where winter is a season though.

A friend has his own company that does all sorts of roof work and they’re among the most expensive companies around here but they still find enough customers and have a good reputation. The reason behind it? They just doing amazing work, they’re amongst the most expensive companies but do it in the best way possible. Only companies with bad quality can charge low prices…

And if there is a mistake or low quality work you just call him they inspect it and if it was there fault they fix it for free. That’s how you get good reputation and many customers.

That telescope is never cleaning the windows properly. If a window washer comes to my building with telescope broom i tell them to do by hand or leave with your telescope. The telescope will always leave the bird poop behind.
