195 tables - @ $500 = $97,500. 10x10 booths - 33 center @ $1000 = $33,000, 41 corner @ $1200= $49,200. Total $179,700 *Not sure what it costs for the double tables so you would have to add that in.

Hey Ben, thanks for making a couple of my knives internet famous in the Ship Shape Sharpening Shop. Yes, my Browning 5518 was made in the USA and the sheaths were hand tooled in Mexico (except for 1976 with a Bicentennial sheath tooled in the USA). I got mine in the early 70’s when I was 10 and carved my initials in it during a BSA 50 mile hike. I’m cleaning it up to give to my grandson and Kieth CRUSHED the sharpening. TYVM

Just got my large lulu in the mail. Very impressive knife. I like the design. Fit and finish are excellent. The handle is very comfortable. The kydex sheath is excellent. Very well made and locks the knife in with no rattle. I also like the belt loop. Simple, the way I like them. The main thing I worried about was the thickness of the grind behind the edge and I was very happy to find that it is nicely thinned. All in all, a great knife! The only improvement I can think of is a tapered tang but that would up the price considerably so I'm happy with what I have. Great design by Knafs and excellent workmanship by LT.

Thanks for the video. Love your designs and have a bunch! I sometimes get a pivot backing out on the Lander 1 models like mentioned in this video. My fix instead of locktite is to use pipe tape like a plumber. A whole roll is about a dollar and will last forever. I cut a small probably 1" strip that is the same width as the pivot screw threads and wrap it tightly around the threads then tighten into the pivot until it's snug and the action is where I want it. Rarely does the pivot back out after this trick as the plumber's tape keeps it in place.

Although I have a ton of kydex sheaths and even make them, I prefer leather sheaths for most situations and will probably make one for this knife if one of my leather sheaths won't already fit it. But if you happen to offer one, please post it. I'm especially fond of dangler sheaths.

23:46 On construction, when fastening something to a wall, after having drilled a hole, and if the dowel (or any of its modern variants) come lose, you can put stuff in to make it fixed, because you can't fix the inside of a wall like that. So, you could try something powdery or thready for a screw thread. Probably better to replace the pivot screw, if you don't wanna mess with it like that. And beware of any damage you will cause to make a lose screw thread fixed.

I know I would find it interesting to see all the creative and unique designs that the community has done.

Speaking of possible new products how about a straight razor with swappable scales? You could have Saturn scales with rings, or Endor scales with Ewoks on it, or a set with 1964 Chevy Nova in blue. If you don’t want to do a straight razor you could make it for Gillette blades. Or maybe an OTF straight razor. Not sure why I thought of this during this episode but it sounds like something Austin could design and test.

I've found that Loctite works best when you clean both mating surfaces, use a primerless Loctite such as 243 (medium strength), apply a thin coat to both surfaces of the threads that will be in contact with each other, then allow a minute or two for the Loctite to etch the metal. The Loctite won't cure until the screw is installed, but then your on the clock. When you install the screw, adjust it to it's final tightness within two minutes; the Loctite will set in ten minutes so you don't want to be adjusting it after a couple minutes or the final adhesion might be compromised. Let the knife sit undisturbed for a minimum of 24 hours for the Loctite to fully cure; 48 is even better. Blue Loctite can be very strong when done this way. Also, if you use too much it will run out of the threads (too much on the screw will run out of the head end and too much on the nut will run out of the other end unless it's a closed nut) and it can get into your pivot.
@GOxHAMАй бұрын
If loctite doesn’t work for the pivot, you can add a tiny piece of plumbers tape with the loctite.

I discovered a great hack for mangled t6 bits. You can revive a t6 bit by just grinding down the end on a flat diamond stone until you get past the mangled tooling to some fresh undamaged bit. As long as you don’t grind down too far to wear it thickens up, this will revive your t6 so that it starts engaging with the tooling on the screw head perfectly again. Once I figured this out I repaired a bunch of completely useless t6 bits this way and consequently haven’t had to buy more t6s

Man, I was hoping they would do the Lulu in a full flat grind. I love the size of the lulu for edc and a ffg would have made it the perfect edc fixed blade. I’m kinda bummed. I like the new fixed blade. It’s just a little too big. Scale it to the size of the scandi lulu and you’ll have an all time hit. I’m sure of it.

I remember a few weeks ago the moon crew moment was someone who made washers for their lander 3, because they don’t like bearings.
