We made a "Winter WW1 German Uniform" from Amazon for $86

We try to make a WW1 German "Uniform" from Amazon for under $100. We ended up getting a trench coat that looks like the WW1 German Winter gear. This Was a fun video and hope you guys enjoyed! This "Uniform" can be used for Airsoft, School Presentations, Theatre, Halloween, However, It CANNOT be used for Official Reenactments as this is certified FARB.

I actually gone to school in a all genuine ww1 german uniform, it was my great grandfather's, we have a room full of our families german uniforms as we have all served in the german army since the holy Roman empire. Including ww2, much love from München!

I bought the Mr Bigs cosplay Stahl helm. I drilled out the aluminum rivets and install 2 brass grommets for proper air holes and custom made a ww2. Helm liner and installed it for real good fit . Puttied duvet in top of helm with wood putty and repainted it and put on a SS recall I drew and hand made and installed on right side just under airhole. Looks very realistic.

Y straps were not very common in the German army of ww1, the pouches were usually held by the breadbag strap when the tornister was not worn. There were also hooks sewn on the outside of the uniform to keep the belt in place But your uniform from Amazon still looks similar and is perfect for use on Halloween and similar things Greetings from a German ww1 Reenactor from Baden

You could also use old military uniforms which look similar (especially the Swedish ones) and feldgraue isn't always gray, it can differ from various gray and green shades

In Germany we have some shooting ranges and if you took a shooting course and got some licenses you are able to shoot some guns. Restrictions are still though here. I've never done that, but I join the Bundeswehr soon, so I'll be able to shoot that G36 and 120mm Rheinmetall Glattrohrkanone, if I join the Mainbattletank forces.

It could probably be done, but it would be very time consuming since it would require a lot of DIY since, I don't think, that you can buy costume Japanese armor like you can a Medieval knight or an ancient Roman or Greek

I think you guys should go to Dan Sinh Market in Vietman. There, they sell a lot of retro military stuff like uniforms, lighters, steel helmets and many more. Most of them are reproduced, some of them are real war time equipment. The price are quite cheap.

That one looks pretty darn close. The belt and suspenders look close, and the helmet was very close. The boots fit the uniform well. Over all a good video. Plus it helps that Maverick could indeed pass for a young tall german male soldier. The trench coat was very close. Looks good.
