Use your thumb to push the food into your mouth, while keeping your forefinger up. You make less mess that way. Also keep the rice and curry separate as much as possible. By this I mean, don’t pile on the curry on top of the rice, then take a little bit of each to mix it using your fingers on a “cleaner side” of the plate. Then eat that bit with your hands. This is the best way to keep it all nice and clean. But it’s so cool watching you guys try these things. Great sense of humor.

The chicken suffered from crowding in the pan that’s why it was difficult to get a good sear. This is usually made with chicken tikka from the grill / tandoor. Try grilling that chicken instead and add to the curry. That’s what gives it an actual oomph!
