You mob should rig up up a running mooring - set one anchor out deep then run a double line (endless loop) to shore where you tie off to tree or a second anchor and attach a mooring float on a short rope with chain to the endless loop. Then when you come in you tie off boat on mooring float and pull yourself into shore, jump off and when unloaded pull the endless loop to drag boat out to deep water ...... tie simple figure eight knot to secure endless loop and clip off to shore anchor.......no more swimming

i went snorkelling from around Madang PNG off to an island ( on my own ) maybe 500m off the coat or so , when i got out in the deep, i just put my head up and swam as i was so far out i thought if there was a shark i would prefer not to see it coming , not very wise really . I think about it now some years later and think i was nuts, and lucky to be here .

Just a heads up for anyone who has cassava is that is contains cyanide and needs to be well boiled or cooked to remove the toxicity. Cutting the roots into small pieces, followed by soaking and boiling in water is a good way at reducing the cyanide content in cassava.

Hi guys, love the series and channel in general, just wanted to add my 2 cents regarding your comment on spearfishing being the most sustainable form of fishing. You generally target the best eating fish, the largest specimens, often catch multiple big/trophy fish, and often species which are hard to catch with rod/reel. By targeting bigger/trophy fish you are affecting the genetics (removing big fish tends to cause a population of smaller fish), is affecting the population by removing the most prolific breeders, and catching species that would otherwise have minimal pressure. Rod/reel fishing does also have the option of releasing fish in most cases, so is arguably just as sustainable. A lot of fishos also release trophy fish, these fish have much greater value as a sports fish that can be caught multiple times than a 1-time meal. Im not claiming spearfishing is bad, I just think its important to realise you are impacting the fish populations too, and maybe you should focus on mid-sized fish more to protect the bigger breeders.

@maxgorelick2 жыл бұрын
There aren’t two channels, there are just two groups of people that upload stuff. They are up to different things, so there are different series going on. I’m glad that’s the case, it’s like having two TV shows on the same channel. If there was a feud going on I’m sure one of them would start a new channel. I am probably going to be an outlier with my comments but I don't get your channel. You call it back ti basics, but from what I see you run around in a power boat burning petrol to film KZbin videos. You are always somehow "checking the weather", "pressing on for schedule" or "didn't budget for something " How about giving up the power boat and try sailing?
