17:34 I remember when I was a kid. there was never really much to eat and one day I had rice and fried onions. his reaction to that bite brought me right to that moment. the genuine happiness I felt from my first bite was insane.

The natural beauty still never ceases to amaze me. Also, your ability to scale a coconut tree. I once had to take a personality test during a work training. We were given a piece of paper with a large rectangle box printed on it and told to draw a tree. Well...my tree was a coconut palm... that extended past the borders of the box...and had a monkey throwing coconuts. I didn't really need to read the evaluation. I think mine was self explanatory. My best friend calls me her coconut. I own it.😊 --Jessica from Florida 🌞

Fantastique aventure entre frères. Trop cool. 👍👍👍🇦🇺🇫🇷

More chain for the anchor lads? Do you have 1.5 times boat length of chain on the anchor line? If not give it a thought! 8:46 LMAO the boys learn why chemistry is useful useful in real life. Cast Iron aka Metal plus acid AKA Citric Acid (Limes , lemons etc) and Vinegar ( acetic acid) just may just create a reaction. Good news is you have probably created some Hydrogen, bad news is it left the camp, but good news you got to taste the ferrous acetate and might have helped your body iron levels improve - Winning! The footage is awesome Az and Jack, well done, 10:41 was that a ships berthing line or a massive tow line? 16:00 did you guys dress up for sword fight club, getting ready for the equinox?? No spoons?? Think chop sticks or use the cray tail shell, if you have no coconuts or clam shells work good! Thanks for sharing the fun and entertainment. Stay safe! 🤗

I could make a mini desalination station from the odd parts in my garage. I would only need 6 to 8 hours of sun to make ~10 liters of water per day. Or, I would buy one of the dozens that are available on-line or at some shops in Australia. Water, Water Everywhere! But not a drop to drink - unless you have a mini desalination station - then you have all the water you can drink.

HOW TO SECURE YOUR BOAT at a beach : Put a sizable Scotsman (round buoy) between the anchor and boat to stop the slamming of the waves on the bow of the boat that otherwise could pull your anchor.(buoy acts like a shock absorber) ... This setup will absorb the up and down motion caused by waves. A double anchor is best ( in a "Y" formation) . Two anchors, 2 heavy ropes to the buoys, and two lines , one to each side of the bow of the boat. then to a central cleat. A third line goes from the back of the boat to shore to a solid anchor point, which should be secured above high tide. ( to a tree or big rock or a buried anchor). Come on you guys. Do it right all the time. Stay Safe. Love your videos..

Thought I'd watch it again .Man you have me worried about that machete when opening the coconuts . This is in reference to 1:00 , in a world where anything can happen . I would venture not to help any bad times along . I don't know , maybe it's my Mother in me . Living on a diet of crayfish doesn't seem too bad actually . I'm glad to hear that the boat didn't " wander away " . Alright , " Good on Ya' " get some rest .

@@BacktoBasics It looked like you lost some of the seasoning on your cast iron, save one of those fish skins and use it to oil the pan after cleaning and cooking if you do not have extra food oils. It is a hard thing to maintain on open fires, but can be done. Your food will taste better once the seasoning is restored. Good luck out there.

No More Tears - how to prepare an onion the easy and safe way. The compounds in an onion that make you cry are mostly concentrated in the root and the shoot. Thus, when you cut through these sections you release these compounds and find yourself in floods of tears. To combat this, instead of cutting directly down the centre line, cut a diagonal such that you cut to the left of the shoot and to the right of the root (or vice versa). Now you have a halved onion, with the root and shoot intact. Make a triangular cut either side of the root and shoot, such that they form wedges that can be pulled from the onion, again without cutting into them. Put them straight into the bin / outside. You should now have two halves with wedges cut from them, the skin forms points at the corners of the cut points. This is a really handy place from which to start peeling - instead of trying to get a knife under a round, wide edge, you have a point that makes it easy to start from. Just peel back and start chopping.

Tides can be several metres in height. The bottom was stoney. As the tide leaves it does not simply get lower, it washes up and down with the waves, smashing the hull on the stones and putting great holes in it. Sub-optimal that, it's generally better to keep the water on the outside of a boat.
