My husband and I are loyal Carnival cruisers. We have been on Royal Caribbean and enjoyed it. We have been cruising since 2010 and got on at least one cruise a year. BEST VACATION to take!!! I like that they aren't shy or embarrassed about letting people know this is their 1st cruise. "Experts" seem to doctored up in their videos. Carnival has much more of a party atmosphere. It's great for younger cruisers, people with kids, etc. Cash is a must for the ports. Bring smaller notes. Yall are having fun which is the important thing.

Of course not, can’t fake those kinds of things! I will say after this experience I will definitely be back on another cruise soon! I’ve heard that about Carnival, it’s on the “to do” list in the near future for sure! As far as the money aspect, straight amateurs for not bringing cash😭 all good though, you live and you learn! Also get cash in small bills. I always get $200, 100 in ones 50 in five and 50 in 10. Unfortunately most Caribbean islands always say they don't have change in my experience. Royal Caribbean is my favorite line, especially the mega ships. When I want a relaxing cruise, I cruise Royal. When I want to party and turn up Carnival but you will never a few days rest when you get back. MSC and Norwegian are nice just laid back and food is just ok. Royal has better buffet and main dining but Carnival has better restaurants especially on the larger ships and more to do. Next cruise try Oasis class or above for Royal and Carnival Vista ship or above and at least 6-8 day to enjoy those mega ships. Enjoyed the vlog.

@@MaliksWorld you have cruise fever. I truly understand. My favorite part of my cruise is getting up the first morning and watching the sun rise on the top deck. It's a humbling feeling to look to your left and right and see nothing but water and realize that God is truly the creator and father of everything. Look forward to next video. So glad to have come across your channel in doing research for my first cruise. Based on your other videos for theme parks and such....are you from Georgia? I am, so I was like coooooool I know where that is...oh, coooool I know where that one is too! haha. I agree with the other commenter, when you said spending time with your best friend - I was like *big gigantic sigh, smile, and batting of the eyelashes* Awwwwww! lol - I'm going on my first cruise on Dec 5th - will also be Independence of the Seas - and it's with my best friend as well, for his birthday. I'm a plus size gal, and he's supportive and encouraging of me, and I just take his hand and go out into the world and take on adventures that I never would have before in my life (I'm 40 years old) - Being not afraid, as so far with our road trip adventures, and the relationship ups and downs - he's been right, and with me every step of the way. Lordy, I was 38 years old before I got on my first airplane ride in my life back in Aug 20th 2020 - to fly to Virginia to see him when he had to move back home for a bit - because of his love, support, and faith in me. So when you made that best friend comment.....I was like *oooooh, i'm feeling that - all in the feels* haha I realized last night while talking to him about the cruise - I think this is excitement anxiety for a change, and not my usual gloom/doom anxiety setting in haha - and oh boy it's a beautiful thing! That Kings Dominion in Virginia...is actually where I rode my first rollercoaster in 25 years back in July, because he continued to encourage and support and love me enough to make me believe I could believe in myself, and not give up and actually live life - instead of wasting it away - God's gift of life is a blessing, and I have let far too many years pass me by! And now....December 5th calls upon our next adventure - my first cruise/his birthday - no place I'd rather be then with my best friend, taking on the world. Ugggghh....sorry, I just get to gushing like a giggling little girl and it's hard for me to catch myself and reel it in sometimes 😀 Anywhoo...Video suggestion/request - have you guys considered doing an "about us" video for the channel? Or a "how we met" situation? - or does Karen maybe have a vlog channel prepping for the wedding where we could see a how we met/about us kind of story - if this channel is staying travel related? First off, let me just say thank you for tuning into the video. Second, wow! This is the most thoughtful response I've ever received since starting youtube. I am actually from Florida! Im glad that you can relate, there is nothing like having someone to share these adventures with! Thank you for sharing a little bit about your situation, it was truly amazing. I hope that you continue to appreciate life and do whatever makes you happy. In terms of this cruise, you will have a BLAST, 4 days was not enough to take in everything this ship has to offer, but try your best to do as much as you can, but all while still relaxing. Responding to your video request, there will eventually be a video detailing a little bit about us. Once we grow a bigger community, we will definitely share more about what got us started and where we are now. Karen does not have another channel, but who knows, maybe one day she will! The goal of this channel is just to grow a loyal community who follows our adventures. Majority of our videos will be travel based, theme parks, and adventure.
