Another great production guys, It's a must to be able to master the Great Australian Salute ....especially when you forgot the nets. Cant believe how much they sting you for to gain access to the Rock. Gulp. Well done, cheers

hahaha thanks Steele, we were pros by the end of the day. It certainly was on the pricey side ($72 for the both of us) but you really don't have a choice, it's a must see. We'll see you shortly :-)

Plastic shopping bags are good to keep for the wet days. Put bag in wet/damp boots first then your dry socks on your feet then feet side the bags. Picked that up on the Long Way Round series. Have used it and it works a treat. Safe travels Gav

Loving the vlog guys . Ive been to most of the places you're visiting , so its great to re live them thru your eyes . Particularly loving the Himalayans and the drone footage . I've managed to lose most of my old pics , so seeing it all again is great . The access and accommodation accommodation costs are huge , always were , so camping is the only way to keep it economical . Fuel costs are crazy too . Stay safe from the locals , its getting crazy up there . Good luck

Thanks Alan, glad you're enjoying the vlogs and getting to relive your adventure. We love our Himi's and Roger the drone :-) ...it didn't take us long to learn that everything in the outback comes with a pretty price tag. Thanks for the tip, we will 👍

It’s a fantastic looking location, I’ll get there one day. I’m sure rangers are patrolling the area and roads to make sure tourists aren’t breaking the law.

Great videos and journey. I find it hilarious that the photographic camera somehow creates a negative vibe photographing 'sacred' places. No different to sketching a location but sketching and painting is perfectly alright. Anyway, can't wait for ayres rock to be opened again for climbing if that does ever occur.

Hi David, it was a special experience that's for sure. When do you plan on setting off for your adventure? Yep we're back in Sydney now, getting ready for a mini road trip on the bikes up to my mum and dads in QLD, the first since we got back from the lap. You too - have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year :-)

we are at $1.55 a liter today, east coast Canada...the lack of horse power on the bike and over 85 kl/hr cause the poor mileage. A 700 twin would actually use less...strange...Tina..congrats on having the throttle lock removed.....Keep your feet on the pegs and your right hand cranked. Finally..the origin of the Man Cave...and a romantic supper ....what a life...😁😁

@@TinaandJason 😂😂 quick question...have you reflected on how far you guys have come? From the outside, it's a pretty spectacular transformation from near enough novices who struggled with a dirt road to the confidence and nonplussed nature you exhibit now. Very cool to see. ❤️
@TinaandJason
@TinaandJason Жыл бұрын
Yes it's funny to think back to when the bikes were all shiny and we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Dirt roads are getting more comfortable but sand and steep hills still scare the crap out of us lol, there's still a long way to go but we're happy with the progress we've made 😊 Cheers Marty.
