I am sorry to say that we had a bad tiptronic trans and the front pump bearing wore out. The car 🚗 s in the shop being wrapped and turned into show car on the other channel till we get a new stick trans and swap. Ask anything. We are cool.

You really made the air straight through and took out all the breaks. Why did Porsche down tune the Boxster so much?

Noise reduction. With restrictions such as pollution exhaust, noise levels are also restrictive in many countries.

Nice answer. Yes it does reduce the “noise” of the air. It also kills the CFM air flow. I hear a tiny bit of noise and the extra power is worth it.

It was down tuned so as not to be as quick as the more expensive models

@@rogernorman2621 For those who want a real answer, the higher power Boxster S has 35 more HP and 45 ft/lbs of torque more. It has 700cc more displacement with a larger stroke and a larger bore. It’s a different transmission and the power and is different so the valve train isn’t identical. But, wait, it also has such emission and noise control additions so... Engines are not all the same HP with things simply added to create lower-power models. Engineering is a real thing, not a conspiracy.

I think putting the. Maf Closer to engine would help .as the air speed increases nearer the engine it would add a crum of fuel. Its more stable aswel

There is a vacume past the pannel where intake is . Big diy air box with ram air edf should help. Look at... bldc edf 90 mm

I just used a cheap aftermarket. You don’t need some thing expensive just to be cool. Get what work for you for where you are at.
