I aint no back expert, so I am just sharing MY experience. Spending a LOT of time sitting at a desk and the only thing keeping my back good are back exercises at the gym. Works like a clock! Now, if I skip the exercises for a week, I start to feel it again and that's when the back can go into pain territory - no exercises beyond that point, just special stretches and rest. Once the pain refuces - back to the gym and it's good.
@nancyf1815 күн бұрын
Edd, Anna next step is tiles going down then the kitchen going in, I might be geting ahead of your schedule but it's exciting to see it all come together.
@spudmurphy76415 күн бұрын
I had electric u/floor heating installed in my downstairs wet-room - paid a pro to fit it and he did a brilliant job. I mention this because there was an excess of the matting - and he simply turned up the excess where necessary and took it up the walls - which were to be tiled anyway so no problem there. Might work for you, too?
@janrey462915 күн бұрын
If you go under the cabinet you have to think about how the heat releases. Most food kept in a cabinet needs a cool, dark, dry space to prolong it's best lifetime usage. No worries if the renters know not to use the lower ones for food storage though. As always a great job you two!!! Thanks for another great video and now let's jump over to Billy's place!!!!!!

Edd, we have underfloor heating that uses water. The only real downside is, we should have installed programmable thermostats to turn the heat down at night and up in the morning. It takes about an hour for the room temperature changes when you switch it by hand.

Anna, that secret black-hooded figure keeps sneaking into your property; this time he was insulating the downstairs floor!!
@sue719014 күн бұрын
Not sure where you are in real time but a tip from my electrician. Fit 2 sensors to the heating mats so if one fails you can easily repair . We have underfloor heating in one bathroom fitted by a different tradesman and the previous ged to fix it by electrician wired it incorrectly and blew the sensor so we had a brand new limestone floor and no underfloor heating. Our electrician managed to fix it by connecting a room sensor so that it now works.
@paulhillman736115 күн бұрын
There is tape on both sides of the mat so it can be stuck down either way up, metalic tape should not be used on the mat or stat otherwise it creates a hot spot on the element or false reading on the sensor which needs to be in free space and not underneath anything in a tube so it can be pulled out and replaced when needed, i have had to do this when they fail.

@BordeauxLife14 күн бұрын
If it breaks you have had it! This is why it’s so important to check that the resistance is correct so you know it’s not broken….. it doe apparently last 30+ years

Ed I am confused if the mat is electrical elements once you have cut it how does the other elements heat up did you bridge them some where some how I only saw cables on the first piece you put down.
