Only just watching this. The game is rendered in a low res/low fi way on purpose with layers of filters and distortions coupled with a more demanding lighting system, as I understand it... Something about it makes it look incredible in VR though, more realistic somehow. Maybe part of it is that it almost looks like a fog is getting illuminated and shadowed.

it does look pretty cool overall. i might try to add some additional shaders to make it look nicer on the vr end to get a different perspective though
