Yup, relatable af. I always pack fresh fruit, canned tuna, peanut butter, crackers, and possibly boiled eggs so I've got emergency rations. We live around Charlotte, NC so we did trips into the Blue Ridge Mountains in VA a lot when I was a kid. If my dad wasn't in such poor health I'd love to take him now because I know he'd love it. Well that and packing up all 4 cats because we just couldn't leave them...

Crusty was, unfortunately, already having health issues long before they moved. He was quite old, and the change from the west coast to the east coast had little to nothing to do with his passing. The biggest reason we found out so much about his health problems was that the Livestream audience constantly asked about him. So, we got weekly updates.

Idk if Safiya and Tyler get enough credit for being the absolute top example there could possibly be of a healthy, committed relationship. This is the type of partnership everyone should aim for. When people say "marry your best friend", this is the epitome. I know a lot of your viewers are younger and it is SO important that they see this level of healthy communication and affection. It's also important for people more like me whose last relationship may not have been a good one. It makes me so happy to see both of you happy together. @@WellISaidIt I mean there is literally hours upon hours of footage from their streams of them interacting with each other. There is a lot of unhealthy representation of relationships in social media so it's always nice to see healthy realistic relationships. No one said they dont argue and do stuff we don't see but why do you have to be a Debbie Downer because someone is grateful for healthy dynamics on social media?
@WellISaidIt
@WellISaidIt Жыл бұрын
@@HirakoKuyo unrealistic can be both positive and negative. Both would do equal amounts of harm. If you are basing what a relationship should be like do it with people in your life and not online. Every one had Ned from the try guys as the perfect relationship goals and see what happened there. He was cheating on his wife. It's not being a Debby Downer as you put it, it's being realistic. You have no idea what their relationship dynamics are off of KZbin, you only see what people want you to see but if you want to keep your head in the clouds then that is your prerogative.

I'm so glad that they planned travelling around Crusty. There are a lot of people who wouldn't have. As someone with a 22 year old cat, moving with an elderly cat is hard (and it was just across the city for me!). Crusty may have looked disgruntled throughout the video, but the fact that he slept for most of the road trip and didn't seem to have too many issues in the hotel rooms speaks a lot to the kinds of people and pet owners they are.

@@rnslove As Darky0 said, there are a lot of factors and there really are no secrets. What matters is giving them the best life they can have. In my cat's case, it's in large part because she's a survivor. We've done everything we can for her over the years. When we rescued her ten years ago, when she was twelve, the vet said to put her down because she was so sick and malnourished. We refused to give up on her, even with every complication that came up. Anxiety so she wouldn't eat alone? Feed her next to the kitchen table. And inflamed stomach for years of stess before she was rescued? Change her diet until we found something she wouldn't throw up. Litterbox issues? Put a litterbox where she's going to the bathroom. Arthritis? Pet steps to help her get into bed, omega 3 fatty acids, a heated cat bed. To old for the pet steps? Sleep on the floor with her at night. One of the biggest things for her, though, was getting other cats. The vet always said she would have to be an only cat. Due to extenuating circumstances, we got another cat when she was 19. Long story short, we now have five cats and she loves all of them. She's significantly more relaxed, she sleeps with them and grooms them, etc. They've done her a world of good. The biggest thing, though, is to give your cat the best and happiest life they can have.
