Crusty was, unfortunately, already having health issues long before they moved. He was quite old, and the change from the west coast to the east coast had little to nothing to do with his passing. The biggest reason we found out so much about his health problems was that the Livestream audience constantly asked about him. So, we got weekly updates.

I just wanted to say that as a Non-American, usually when people talk about tourism in America, they talk about the giant cities and urban life but I truly realized how beautiful life is outside of the cities in your video. The scenery by the roadside, the buildings and architecture in the towns is truly amazing and makes me wanna visit. Kudos to you for showing another side of America

Honestly a lot of people from other countries are more drawn to New York City Los Angeles Miami etc. but there’s so many other beautiful places to visit in the United States it really is a big country a lot of people fail to realize that and so diverse with its people food environment everything someone from New York can be completely different from somebody in let’s say Arizona.
@meghanschuler47393 жыл бұрын
Small towns are literally the best part of America. No joke. I've lived all over the country (10 states from arizona to florida up to Wyoming and Minnesota, and all over. I've lived in the 3rd largest city in the US as well as the 5th smallest city in the US, and trust me small towns are way prettier. The goal is to find small towns near (60 miles or less) of the cities.

Am i the only one who appreciates how healthy they're relationship is? I know couples that are constantly at each others throats, but they seem to have a loving and caring relationship. Note: any fights they have off camera is they're buisness, I'm just saying that its great to see how healthy they're relationship is.

Yep. We're from Québec. We went to live for couple weeks with family. For them, it takes 8 hours to come to our house. For us, 11 hours. We have a daughter tho. But I can't imagine taking the road for this much time and not making enjoyable!

We once had a four day drive. We barely stopped. My parents actually would switch seat so one could drive while the other drove. We stopped at a trucker motel once. It was very bad. Cockroaches everywhere shit on the walls and the Bedlinen had very suspicious stains on them. Oh yeah and I got a very awful brother.

@@TUMunich I feel you! We went in Florida when I was a teenager, it takes 2 days. We did it in one, because my father wouldn't stop. He was even bothered when we had to go to the bathroom! I remember, on the way back, he was mad that we wanted to eat. He waited for us in the car while we ate. Roadtrips with family aren't always fun hahaha

I'm so glad that they planned travelling around Crusty. There are a lot of people who wouldn't have. As someone with a 22 year old cat, moving with an elderly cat is hard (and it was just across the city for me!). Crusty may have looked disgruntled throughout the video, but the fact that he slept for most of the road trip and didn't seem to have too many issues in the hotel rooms speaks a lot to the kinds of people and pet owners they are.

What is your secret to having a cat live that long?!
@ginrammo93503 жыл бұрын
@@rnslove There really are no secrets. As someone with an 18 year old cat, who has had many cats and dogs - sometimes you just get lucky. It does depend on breeds and their general health sometimes. But in the end it doesnt matter, just make sure they have a happy and good life, however long it lasts.

@@rnslove As Darky0 said, there are a lot of factors and there really are no secrets. What matters is giving them the best life they can have. In my cat's case, it's in large part because she's a survivor. We've done everything we can for her over the years. When we rescued her ten years ago, when she was twelve, the vet said to put her down because she was so sick and malnourished. We refused to give up on her, even with every complication that came up. Anxiety so she wouldn't eat alone? Feed her next to the kitchen table. And inflamed stomach for years of stess before she was rescued? Change her diet until we found something she wouldn't throw up. Litterbox issues? Put a litterbox where she's going to the bathroom. Arthritis? Pet steps to help her get into bed, omega 3 fatty acids, a heated cat bed. To old for the pet steps? Sleep on the floor with her at night. One of the biggest things for her, though, was getting other cats. The vet always said she would have to be an only cat. Due to extenuating circumstances, we got another cat when she was 19. Long story short, we now have five cats and she loves all of them. She's significantly more relaxed, she sleeps with them and grooms them, etc. They've done her a world of good. The biggest thing, though, is to give your cat the best and happiest life they can have.
