Thank you! Alannah is feeling much better about the new house now, which really helps me feel better, too. I think we were just so tired after everything it took to get here. Plus, we had lived in our old house for pretty much her whole life. I think our furniture arriving has made a massive difference in making it feel less new and more like home.

I am sorry it’s been such a stressful move for all of you, and with being such a huge move, there’s no extended helpers. I hope it will soon feel like home, and with spring here, you’ll be able to explore the beautiful countryside you are in. We moved far away too, soon after our middle kid was born, 6 hours away, and while I still miss my old area and family, not for one second do I regret our move, and I’m sure you’ll love your new area too.

Thank you! Everyone I have met so far is really friendly and welcoming so once I have got everything unpacked, it will be so fun to explore. There is so much to do and see than where we used to live. Our stuff arriving is really helping too and making it feel less like someone else's home.

Oh no! I was concerned the place would be dirty as it’s often been our experience, also most guaranteed when its a sale due to someone dying. It takes me at last 3 months to feel at home, same for our boys although it feels better once cleaned and our belongings are all unpacked. The dogs bounce back far quicker. I hope it ends up being the most wonderful home and this phase ends up just a good story to tell xx

Thank you so much! More of our things are arriving today, and I do think that will really help. Yes, it was so gross. I think I was so exhausted after the moving process with how long it took, all the packing and prep to then find it so dirty. I feel like once I have given it a good clean, it is feeling better. Each day feels more normal when you just learn which light switch works what, lol. Next, I need to figure out keys. I have never seen a house with so many keys for different locks, lol.

So excited for you. I completely understand why you wouldn’t want to do a tour but I’m feeling so curious now 😂😂. I hope you feel more settled soon. And how long did it take to upload?

Thank you! It took most of the day, lol. I have found there are a couple of spots where it is faster, but it also took up a lot of data. Thankfully, Starlink has now shipped and is coming next week. I just need to find someone to install it now.
