Sounds like dr. McClure is doing great work ! I feel like most school Psychs I’ve seen have to focus their majority of their time having to test/assessments

yeah i found that bit to be really interesting. i've still seen a fair amount of testing in secondary sites in my area

There are many challenges as a School Psychologist not discussed here. However, it is rewarding and very challenging once you realize the limited impact we have but work on relationships im glad they touched in the relationship piece in influencing change. Anyone looking into this field should understand you learn the most in the field not in graduate school. I have practiced as a School Psychologist for 9 years and can tell you are constantly learning.

We need more psychologist and therapist like Dr. McClure. He is so humble and this interview went so well. I am a therapist in CA and PsyD student and I really enjoy your platform :) when I started my journey in the field years ago there wasn’t many videos like these. Please keep doing more videos! I like to watch these when I am burnout and for some reason give me motivation, and remind myself the reasons I am in this field.
