Thanks for this! Yeah, while I would prefer a new Riders game, I would still like this series to continue. I am open for a new Tennis game, but would really like a new racing game. If they do make a new one, it should honestly be in the style of Transformed, not like the travesty that was TSR, which was based on the first game in terms of structure. And obviously feature Sega characters! Doing this would make it more original, as it would still be a MK rip off, just more clever. A story would also be nice. I think there was a rumour that a new game is currently in development. There’s lots of room for new ideas! Also, there was that RPG Sega Heroes which was also a crossover and was good, but is quite forgotten. Have you played Sega Superstars for the Eyetoy? That was some party game, and apparently it functioned! Sega should acknowledge their other franchises more, even though not many people know or care about many of them! Imagine of the next game is called TSR Transformed! Or imagine some other sports game they make...

Ooh! How about "Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing EXTREME"? As in, everyone is racing with Extreme Gear like in Sonic Riders. The gear can range from hoverboards to skates to bikes to sailboats even!

You just brought up 3 games that i have very fond memories of, especially the first sonic and sega all stars racing, used beat in every game, occasionally gum too.

Same as me. I just strictly played the JSR characters for the most part. My time spent on these games when they first released was lowkey unhealthy, but they were too fun

If we ever did get a new game (which is unlikely but imagining what-ifs are fun) it'd be nice to see an updated roster from characters from newly popular Sega published games like Yakuza, Persona, and others.

Yeah. They probably won't do something like this again, but... it would be nice if the idea came about again. Especially now with the new IPs they required since then

It makes sense for Tennis to have two characters representing a non-Sonic IP because there can be two tennis players on one side of the court, whereas in Transformed, it just feels like the developers wanted to save time by reusing old models.

I really really really miss the great old times of seeing Sonic the Hedgehog, his friends, and others. I wish there were some or even many more 3D action Sonic games, no offense to the 2D and other types of Sonic games though. I do not blame anyone whoever does not know, but I would ask the world what happened to the great old times.

They were a lot more open for crazier ideas back then. Even in hindsight, they didn't work out great all the time

If I could pitch a Sega All-Stars game, my idea would involve the characters getting to visit other games and be played as if they are those games' characters. For example, the GGs could skate through Green Hill Zone and collect rings. Or anyone visiting Skies Of Arcadia can fight RPG style. SEGA characters can also do dance battles in Space Channel 5. There could be a story mode and minigames.

MY STORY ON WORLD TOUR: I didn’t know how to play the game that much so i started off easy (C class) and things went well until I got stuck on Moonlight Park (Due to the 95 star gate and the fact that I’m an easy mode kind of guy) and I only had 5 characters unlocked (4 from world tour and 1 from Grand Prix) but later on I practiced more and more until I got good and better at the game. I played more and more and got more characters from the rest of world tour and then I finally completed the game! :)

My only problem with Transformed (besides me not getting good at water sections) was getting rid of the characters with bikes. I always loved shadow and his Dark Rider, so it kind of sucked seeing him in a car.

Yeah same. Ulala suffered the same fate. She lost her hovering pod for that corny ol cart. Some characters took some big losses in terms of cart changes

I wish I knew how to adjust the racers' stats. I would've sucked less at the game.

Im still on the hunt on who the fuck voiced beat in sonic and sega all stars racing because his voice lines are so goofy to me and i dont think theyre ripped from jsr/f
