Now that last camper is perfect and very nice inside and out. You have plenty of living space with that slide out in the living room and you won't feel like sardines in a can. Love the slide out in the living room. We had a 42 foot trailer with a slide out in the bedroom and a 20 foot slide out in the living room/kitchen area. Thing is we leased a space in Door County and that puppy didn't move LOL. Too long for us to haul. God's blessings.

That definitely is a good set up. You should be able to pull and maneuver that camper easy. I did it with a 1/2 ton pick up. Congratulations on the new home away from home.

Omg’sh, that’s a perfect camper for you! I really love that layout too, and the big back window. We bought a rear living camper for some of those same features. Would have been nice to have bunks for grandkids, but there’s too much give and take in campers, so they get a king pull out couch instead to sleep on, and we get theater seating..Lol We bought this one the Summer before Covid hit, and I’m SO glad we did, because now, like you said, everybody wants one, and I’ve also seen people paying astronomical amounts for them too these days. Eeeek! Now we need more Campgrounds, because it’s almost impossible to get a reservation anymore too! Lordy..

This is not about your purchase of the trailer. I have a suggestion about your garden. You have a tractor large enough to pull a single bottom plow ( my father-in-law called it a lister) . I lived in Kansas for half my life and had gardens. We liked to cultivate (plow) the garden in the fall to break up the soil better with the freezing and thawing cycles of the winter. I am sure you could find a lister in a local farm sale. The one my father-in-law had was also used to harvest the potatoes rolling out the spuds rather having to dig them. Big time saver in prep and harvesting! That’s my two cents worth of suggestions... I have farmers in my family and wife’s family for the last +150 years. Just wondered if you had ever thought about it?

That's a really nice used camper. I liked the bedroom, you can move around, cross ventilation with the windows, personally for me, I'm not a fan of how the kitchen was with the island like look, but it was nice. I loved the open feeling it gave when you walked in. Didn't look cramped. I hope you get to relax after work & get a good rest. 6 hours round trip would take me from Independence, Va. to Pittsburgh, Pa. "1" way.

Sringdale by Keystone rv built in Goshen IN. If it's 2001-2006 I personally installed all the furniture, dinet table and cushions, mattresses and caulked the bathroom and kitchen counter. We would build 25 of those units a day

It is a 2004 Nick so you worked on it. Why the heck do they not have a drawer for cooking utensils? Lol. I also saw that is has no oven. I never even thought to look, I thought they all had ovens and drawers. I will be bringing the toaster oven. So the Springdale line is a basic or entry level unit. However if it was built toward the end of 04 it could've been a supplier issue. After hurricane Charley fema bought thousands of units for displaced people. So rv suppliers started producing more basic (low end) parts for all those units. So even though yours wasn't a fema unit it might have just a stove top because that's all was being made at the time. I still see a lot of them on the road and in campgrounds. So they can't be to bad lol. Cheers

Well in northern lower Michigan (where I am) the majority of trailers are too big. Finding a smaller one is a chore. I wouldn't settle for a larger one, if it was me. All the best Joe.

It is absolutely crazy how things are selling, rvs, boats, atv, etc. Not to mention homes and property. Here in the mountains of Northwestern PA, MD, NC and Iowa the same. Name your price and let the bidding begin. Nice to see you wait for the perfect rv. My husband worked at a small rv dealership years ago and there is so much that can be wrong that many don't see.

Glad to here you found one Joe. I'm currently looking in to selling mine. I'm looking for something lighter. My current one is a Shasta Revere and is weighing in around 9,700 lbs. I can get another 35 ft weighing in around 7. I bought it last year because it was a no brainer. It was brand new and used twice. They were only asking half of the original price. Now I can just about sell it for what they paid for it. And thats crazy for a travel trailer. But since people can't leave the country for vacation the RV world has exploded.

We bought brand new bedding as well as a 3 inch memory foam mattress topper. The bedding is hideous and I would not sleep in other peoples bedding anyway. Lol. I agree with you.

Take your hitch receiver and flip it over so the rise becomes a drop. Set the height so that the top of the ball is at 18 inches from the ground and you should be right on.
