Adding my two cents... love the 8x speed over the 12x. It's less jittery and you can better see the pieces being used and how you're manipulating them. Additionally, your infrastructure builds are some of my favorites because I feel like you often get super creative with the decor, like those ceiling fans! 10/10.

I second that. I learn a lot more from seeing more clearly how you are building.

I think it's not "generic" but rather "versatility" that so many of the themed pieces have--and you're right. The doors are pretty rough. There's a few generic doors, but I wouldn't call them versatile b/c they look TOO generic, haha. I for one love implied realism and the necessary stuff to make a park "work." It just makes the whole project better.

To be honest, when making my park i was disappointed when i couldn't find lockers, and the very excited to see lockers here, so i think I'm the locker enthusiast here. My inspiration for my park is Hurricane Harbor in Arlington which has these really cool locker structures on either side of the wave pool that i want to do.

I really enjoyed this time lapse. While I didn't notice it was slower than usual, I did notice it didn't make me nearly as seasick 😂 loved the locker theming. The tempo of this video was perfect. Fast enough to see the whole process, slow enough to take it all in and follow what you're doing, which is great for learning how to build better. :) Also just the right tempo for it to be relaxing but not boring :D Very ADHD friendly

I do like these types of videos because it gives extra realism details to a park, despite it not being functional most times. They're great filler buildings that would have functionality in real life, and you always make them turn out amazing!

model railroading is so much fun! I can not reccomend enough anyone who would be at all interested in getting into it. It is a little bit easier to build "models" in planet coaster than buying a kit, and meticulously applying glue and getting the walls all straight and standing up on a real building kit though

As a totally real locker enthusiast, that's some really beautiful lockers! For real though, I absolutely love these types of videos where you make scenery that may or may not have any function, but is built with so much care and detail. It's a double edged sword though because on one hand, I get so much inspiration for my own park, but on the other, I can't make things look half as good.

So, funny thing..... I work in Corporate Real Estate as an Occupancy Planner and Space Data Manger.. After the unknow virus of unknown origin and the political events of the year 2020, companies who resisted hybrid work, or flexible offices have been forced to embrace the idea of unassigned work locations (the actual desk you work from day to day) and are embracing hoteling workstations and offices. As such LOCKERS have become a big deal for my client. Both the type, and amount. The issue is creating the same experience for the employee regardless if they book a workstation on the 20th floor or the 5th floor, or in New York or Los Angeles. I started my career as a Facility Manger (think of a Property Manager but for the tenant of the building, and not the building it self) so INFRASTRUCTURE is where I geek out. Coasters can take a back seat to lockers.

I have very little creativity when it comes to these kinds of games, but I adore watching creative people like you putting together these intricately detailed buildings and shops. Probably my favorite episode yet :) these are the details that really make a part come to life! One idea to add to a Timelapse video is a little montage to cap off the episode at the end. This video kind of just ended. CityPlannerPlays is a content creator for Cities Skylines and he always ends his videos with a "city tour" to show off what he accomplished, artistic angles, following the NPCs as they walk around the new build, etc, it's a really nice touch. That said, I know you were pressed on time, and I'm happy we got more content :) just an idea.

Love these 15-20 min timelapse building vids! Exactly for the reasons you shared: it shows what pieces there are and what kind of exciting stuff you can do with em. Love the video! When they fix the guests clipping through the scenery people won’t use the locker area, so you could add to the lockers (where the screens are to purchase the locker) an ATM, then in a couple lockers maybe sink in a vending machine, that way the guests look like they’re buying a locker, then taking their food and drinks from the lockers! Loving the series 🎢
@kimbrolyy12 күн бұрын
I don't think ATMs are in PC2. They also probably won't give guests collision due to the processing power needed, but barriers that block people like in PC1 would be ideal

as someone who doesn't care about rollercoasters or you as a creator (in the nicest way possible) i really appreciate a streamer/youtuber building the most mundane things and making them look nice and also not constantly complaining about bugs during the process. like i understand there probably are reasons to complain and i believe having expectations for a game like this is entirely fair but i just wanna sit here and eat my peanut butter sandwich and watch someone having a good time building lockers. ur attitude is very enjoyable for casual viewers is what i'm trying to say lol

I think these look great! I saw another creator ( don't remember who ) was removing paths underneath things to stop guests walking through? Might be a great idea for things like this. Also, could you place a help desk clipping inside the lockers so it looks like people are using them?
@MattHurst10013 күн бұрын
I’ve found to use the delete path tool, stamp mode and remove a big area, then get the path you want and use the stamp builder (with merge off) and you can get close to the piece you want to avoid, I’ve done this for a support pole (the famous wooden plank) and the pathing tool lets me leave that tiny hole.

13:16 I’m not sure if I’d call it buggy - but it’s taken me awhile to get the paths to do what I want consistently. I think I’ve finally gotten there (mostly) and having a much better time now. Now my only complaint is the unnecessary clicks and less shortcuts than PC1 (I’m still trying to toggle rotation snap with spacebar)
@samwalker889313 күн бұрын
The issue is , and this is absolutely key… despite what you call it.. buggy or not, even in his own statement ; there are bugs and it is “buggy”….. “this is a frontier product “ i think is what he says: and THIS IS THE KEY STATEMENT…. We are ALL fed of up of just accepting it..this is not beta or alpha.. this is final retail product. There is NO excuse for it.. this was rushed to market with hotfix and updates rushing behind.. and its not finished.. thats no way to sell and market something. Reliant on updates and fixes.. not a chance.. we buy a game to play.. not buy a game on the hope and prayer they will release something at a later da5e to provide the hope you had at purchase.. they are two different products: ones a developing journey and adventure, the other is a product and game.. they sold the latter

That’s the most important for me, but since most people do Timelapses I do appreciate them being slowed down so I can follow.
