I guess the dustjackets would be too much for KZbin haha.. I own both of these omnis and these are some of the highest quality manga editions out there and they're super cheap for what they offer. Maybe not the best story but it is still a really fun book and anime! Anyway great review, just discovered your channel!

I watched this series back in high school and just feel proud to own these. Part of the early anime series I watched. I am also trying to collect I Am A Hero. These 2 are the best zombie series I personally enjoyed. Still not finished with I Am A Hero only 1-5 of ommibus. Oh and School Live is another great zombie series I have the full series.

Awesome to hear that you enjoyed School Live. I love Highschool of the Dead and I Am A Hero, so I'm sure I'd enjoy it as well! Found vol 1 at Half Price Books one day, but need to pick up the rest. Excited to get into! I Am A Hero restocked not too long ago on Right Stuf's site, which was really surprising. I think they've since went out of stock, expecting more again but happy to know that they aren't out of print and are restocking. Hope you are able to get the remaining volumes you need soon!

I just recently purchased a manga titled Sazan & Comet Girl by Yuriko Akase. Its in full color from beginning to end and printed by Seven Seas and my copy reads that this was printed in August of 2020. So pretty newer still and definitely worth checking out, very fun read in my opinion and great art as well!

Honestly I think the reason we don’t see many full color manga is because i *think* drawing manga in color takes more time than drawing it in black and white. Plus printing in color is more expensive than black and white

Yeah that's for sure some reasons as to why! Definitely takes a lot more time. They might only release every so often as like special or collector's editions, but they are beautiful! But it's also been awesome seeing more and more manhwa getting physical releases, which are usually in full-color!

They have been more and more difficult to find in stock for sure. The second one is up on Barnes and Noble right now for $60, but that's full price. Right Stuf has it as out of stock expecting more for $44.99, but not sure when it will be coming back in. I hope you are able to find it for a good price!

@@AnimeCollective they did came today.i got rascal does not dream of petite devil and I had the same dream again and the omnibus version and they were in super mint condition and man I was surprised when I got it today and it's huge as hell and I love it and the poster is awesome.p.s I'm a anime and manga collector and I'm only 17 but I have a ton and my all-time favorite manga series is Boarding school juliet.i have about 11 Blu ray anime complete series and I my first complete manga series is kakegurui which is my 2 all-time and I'm never going to stop collecting anime and manga.or sell them and I'm buying the complete series of to love ru and chivalry of a failed knight and amagi brilliant park manga from japan.

Thanks for bringing this one to my attention I don’t believe it would be a good fit per say as a full color Manga run from cover to cover is too much of a paradigm shift for me my brain is only programmed for color in Marvel DC and independent graphic novels ....

Of course and ah yeah! It is something to get used for sure, especially since we are so used to reading manga in black and white. Really enjoyed getting into manhwa too, which is typically drawn in full-color as well, but it is a nice switch-up for me sometimes to read full-color manga!

Hey, of course!! Solo Leveling is one of my favorites that has released recently and that is in full color, so I highly recommend that one. 2 paperbacks have released of it so far and they look incredible. Manhwa are typically drawn in full color, so I also recommend checking out Bastard and Sweet Home (available to read on Webtoon's site) too if you haven't yet! In regards to manga, not a whole lot has been released in full color, but really wish they'd make more like these HOTD editions because they are beautiful! They have a few Full Color Editions of Dragon Ball, but those were put on hold, so you can only complete up to the Frieza Arc but Viz stated that each individual arc has to be licensed separately so hopefully more will be coming in the future when and if they obtain those. There's also a hardcover Attack on Titan side story titled No Regrets that's about Levi if you are into Attack on Titan that's Full Color and I really enjoyed as well. Hope that helps!

I've had some issues with some books as they age they detatch from the binding, i'm guessing it's the glue aging out. that said what kind of binding is used in these? I'm really contemplating on getting a copy of both myself :/

Hey! The Full Color Editions look to both be in stock on Amazon right now. They are actually on sale it seems. Barnes and Noble and Right Stuf have them in stock right now too. The paperbacks are going to be a bit difficult to find, because it looks like they may be going out of print. Right Stuf has a few of the singles in stock though. Hope that helps!

The individual volumes look to be going out of print with some volumes no longer available but the Full Color Editions look to still be in print and look to just be out of stock right now. Daisuke Sato, the writer of Highschool of the Dead, sadly passed away. Even though it isn't complete though, it is a fun read and the full color art is beautiful and I still highly recommend it!
