I think having Sam Cassell and to a slightly lesser extent, Glenn Robinson on the team allowed him to play this way more so than in Seattle. He became a bit more of a "playmaker" in Seattle along with the catch-and-shoot screen play. Rashard Lewis was legit but Seattle didn't have anyone comparable to Cassell.

would have been great in any era and probably a legit superstar in this one. could see him averaging 10 3pt attempts a game while draining over 40% easily and dropping 30+ ppg right now.

Exactly if Bradley Beal, a poor mans Ray Allen (no disrespect), is leading the nba in scoring then he could easily do it

Honestly with his skill set if he played in today’s era he’d be a perennial MVP candidate.

RAY ALLEN!!!! My favorite player of that era next to t-mac. Over Iverson and Kobe, put him in a bigger nba market in his prime he prob would get more respect and a couple more rings.

15:00-15:06. Look at that gather after the slightly lost behind the back dribble, then the subsequent soft feathery touch, with a hand in his face. That's big time playmaking/shooting, by Jesus Shuttlesworth on that play.
