STOP IT !!! underrated my ass he averaged 20.7ppg for his career. He scored over 20K point's in his career plus he's a multiple time Champion. That's why he was the First ballot HOF player nothing was underrated about him... An oh yea, which is also why he was a top 5 Pick in the draft.

These young fans nowadays literally have no clue how tuff NBA was back then. This was even early 2000s. Old era's intensity is unmatched, everyone in the court is hustling. It make todays games feel like scrimmage. Always only 1 to 2 players of each team has the drive dominate the game. Everyone else just chilling playing like they in scrimz

Most "shooters" lack the foot speed or handles to get their own shot consistently. Most "scorers" are not proficient enough from range to be considered shooters. Many are flat out erratic. Allen was the first "scorer" l can remember who was also a "shooter". He had it all.

3:46-3:50. Was the Ray Allen I fell in love with. So thankful I was alive and old enough, to see this part of his game. So much more than just a shooter. He was a shooter, that could score. In a variety of ways, via his great touch. So thankful for KZbin, and for Hoop connoisseurs such as MaxaMillion, that highlight these underrated parts, and seasons, of these great players.

My favorite SG not named Michael Jordan. RayRay was soooooo good not only as a pure shooter, but driving to the rim and obviously coming off screens and pin downs. He was also very underrated as a defender and playmaker. I've always thought that Bucks squad would have been far more competitive against LA than the Sixers.

Yes I've always said he was a baller with the Bucks. He attacked the basket more and handled it more. In Seattle he really started playing more off the ball running off screens.

I think having Sam Cassell and to a slightly lesser extent, Glenn Robinson on the team allowed him to play this way more so than in Seattle. He became a bit more of a "playmaker" in Seattle along with the catch-and-shoot screen play. Rashard Lewis was legit but Seattle didn't have anyone comparable to Cassell.

But i always thought his athleticism was really underrated imo. even when he was in he got game, you could tell he was a little cut for his frame. he was cold af in milwaukee. george karl was a good coach but always alienating somebody lol

His turnaround fadeaway has always looked crazy to me because his shooting motion and release are identical to that of when he's launching threes. I remember seeing an interview with Ray in which he pretty much confirmed this and stated that his motion and release always remain the same.

Definitely love your reference to that 1999-2000 season. A very underrated year of AI for sure. First all star appearance in Golden State. First time being 1st team All NBA. First team being 1st team All Defense. Got his team to the 2nd round of the playoffs (beating the Hornets in the 1st round), before inevitably falling short to the Eastern conference champion, Indiana Pacers. I definitely feel you on that season getting that Maxamillion "GOAT SZN" video. That season put him on the NBA map, as a superstar.

I remember this season, this was Ray Allen break out season after he really got acclimated to the league. He was lights out and that Bucks team was tough, they had the #2 offense that season behind Kings who were #1 in offense.

I hope you can do a 2007-2008 Ray Allen in Boston. I am happy that Ray KG and Pierce all won their championship that year. But I was most happy for Ray Allen and KG. I love Ray's style. When he was in Boston he didn't have a lot of great athleticism like he had in Milwaukee and Seattle. But he was a phenomenal shooter. One of the best ever
