As a student who always maintain honesty and integrity, it's been so hard to hear my classmates mock me for being such a killjoy, or a whistleblower, let's say. I even thought about giving up and just shift to another program to avoid such conflict. But the heart and support of professionals under the same field made me more convinced that I am doing the right thing. We, the future professionals, should know how this stand can make a BIG impact to the society and economy, as a whole.

I must admit. I laughed the whole way through. I approached some of these academic for help once, and they told me to read the book. The system is set up to neglect people. And I have seen the extreme conclusion of this behaviour, a student commuting suicide.

Hey there! Thank you for your videos! Very insightful! May you please do a video on auditing construction companies, specifically on projects that were terminated years ago. I am trying to do an audit on a road construction project which was terminated about 4 years ago due to the project incurring a huge loss and delaying on the completion date.

Hi - I don't make videos any more on auditing very specific instances such as the one you've requested. Focus on the fundamentals of audit - assertions and evidence - to create your programs. The difficulty will be obtaining evidence after such a long period of time - but hopefully you'll have access to bank records!

Thanks ever astute Dr. Amanda! Academic integrity and whatever integrity builds a decent & merit-based individuals and societies which goes for all. What about the lecture/teacher who deliberately fails a student?

Hi Ibrahim - academics/lecturers/teachers should be using criteria-based assessment. That is - to pass you need to demonstrate certain skills and knowledge. If you have demonstrated those in an assessment task - then you should not fail. Where you are concerned that a teacher may be deliberately failing students for some other reason (eg racism, sexism, homophobia, general dislike) - you need to report this. See if your university or college has a Students Association, Student Complaint Office or Student Ombudsman that can assess your issue.
