Samuel Williams corruption had become the norm after colonialization and dominance of white imperialism. As long as africa embraces western idealogues they will never see true change. Shaikh anta diop has a book precolonial Africa he speaks of governance in most african continental states. The tribal leaders would depose a corrupt king if he was misappropriating the wealth of the kingdom. In contemporary times africans throughout the diaspora have embraced western constructs it has been disastrous worldwide. Africa needs to create their own institutions, create governments that suit their indigenous population also address the territorial states.

I swear to God, I have been thinking about it, even before reading your comment. Let me ask you this simple question. Do you think that the western leaders would accept, a man of this caliber, who would destroy their credibilities and interests in Africa, can be elected as a leader? Sadly, I don't think would be possible.

Honesty is a problem in many African countries. Give an African person money to for a specific purpose. That person will use that money for something else without first asking permission. Even if the reason is legitimate and true, it is still important that you ask permission before using that money. That is what honesty and integrity is all about.

Professor, the problem Is, pur governments do not provider for their people. If the State Is caring for the people, people Will not be corrupt. The same in Europe: the public debt Is a corruption that enslaves ordinary European people. Who pronta Money must create Jobs, and that's the very problem.

I appreciate his anticorruption campaign. It does have a place. But to be honest, arresting corrupt public service officials is only treating the symptom and not the cause. You can't be talking about ending corruption without addressing the issue of poverty. How many Nigerian public servants, for instance, can afford to conveniently sponsor two of their children through university without cutting corners? Corruption feeds nothing less than 70% of Nigerian families. And you want Nigeria to get rid of corruption? That's a joke! Address the poverty issue which encourages corruption in our society .
@corfou858 жыл бұрын
How are you going to address the poverty issue when most of the money that is put out for development projects expected to adress the poverty issue is going to be looted through corruption ?
@njerunjiru6097 жыл бұрын
It's corruption that create some poverties we see around....then with 70% you talk about you will ever run round the circles.
