Year 2 of Xabi Alonso's project at Bayer Leverkusen has gotten off to an amazing start! As the Spaniard's side sits atop the Bundesliga table after a month of fixtures, including a 2-2 thriller against reigning Champions Bayern Munich. Leverkusen are hoping to put an end to Bayern's 12 year dominance and with the help of Victor Boniface, Florian Wirtz, Granit Xhaka and Jeremie Frimpong, the club might just go on to win their first Bundesliga title in club history.
