I downloaded a video template from Envato elements for Final cut and when I tried to use it I got a message that said " The video properties of this clip are not recognized" I tried using anyway and after every edit I had to wait 5-10 min for it to render. Needless to say it took a very very long time to edit a 1 min. clip. Has anyone had this problem using Envato elements? There has to be a better way. Close to cancelling

Hey man, I haven't had that particular problem, however I use Premiere Pro so I find I run into completely different problems 😂 I do know some video templates are much more graphics heavy than others, a few times I have found it's taken too long and I go and look for a different template, but it would be because my laptop doesn't have the right processing power for that template... Sorry not much help, I would suggest seeing if there's a similar yet smaller template that could do the trick?

Haii really like the video but I cant seem to understand one thing about envato elements, There are transition packs for video editing software and in a edit you might require a various number of those transition packs, now do I have to re register a license everytime I use those transitions? I could understand for stock footage and others as u can delet and find them again. But Transtions and bundles are installed in the software, Do I really have to register for everysingle one of the transition pack I use?

Sorry if this reply is a bit late, but hopefully, it helps someone! If you use any assets from a transition pack on Envato, you only need to register your project once. You can’t register the same transition pack more than once within the same project. However, if you use assets from a different transition pack, you’ll need to register that one too! One thing I find super helpful is creating a project on Envato called "My Most Used Motion Graphics." This makes it really easy to track where I got my assets from, and I can quickly relicense them for future projects.

Envato does have some assets, probably not as much as Canva? I would look into that, it might work best for you?

Thanks dude! Amazing review! Can you create or recommend me a video with tips on how to order the projects, organize the licenses that you need to download several times on Envato? I got a little confused. Do I need to download a different license for each project even if it's the same item?

Thank you! Can Def look at making that, it's probably the biggest question people ask. Yes you do have to download a licence for each project even if it's the same item. My way of using Envato changed in the sense that I don't keep all my assets locally (unless it's ones I use all the time, like titles, transitions etc, in which case I'll go and download licences for them at a later stage for each project I've used them). But I'll start each project by going into Envato and getting the assets I need for that project online. Little bit of a different way of doing things, but I found it works really well. I don't know why they did their licencing that way, but for what you get for the price, Im happy to work with it that way.

what I find really annoying at Envato is, that I can only download a stock video in one size. Resulting in 1GB 20 sec clips. Do I miss something?

Do you mean one resolution? You can filter by different resolutions, they have a filter for it.

How does downloading the license for each asset work? Does it come in like a pdf or something? Do you have to add it to the description of your video?

Hey Chevy, when you download an asset it asks you to put it into a Project Folder. You can create as many folders as you want to help organize your assets. When you download the file you wont download a license file with it, it goes to your downloads page under the Project Folder you saved it as with the licence. If you ever need to have a copy of the licence, you can download it from there or add another licence for the same asset on that page.

Yeah that licensing . I got slow Internet. like I'm not gonna use the same every time but what a pain . The reason I didn't pick last time I was looking for a service like this . I mean the confusing part is why do you even have to download them the licenses I mean. Just in case? If you're not gonna put them in the description . I don't know maybe I'm just dumb ....

Yeah I can totally see where you coming from, it can seem a bit tedious to download it every time. I think I've just changed my workflow where I start a new project and download any assets I need for that project from envato which comes licensed. But yes in order to do that you will need fast internet, which I have luckily

For plug-ins and sound effects things that stay in your NLE makes less sense. I do think I'm gonna give them a year thought. Because the large amount of stock video and the price.

But scrolling down clicking next page and when you reach page 50 you don't have option to go next page or page 51. They only suggest you similar clips but I can't access other 123.... things they are showing on search result after page 50

Yes they do have business plans on their site, but the best would be to get a single subscription for the co, it's going to be a lot cheaper. Got a link in description. Unless lots of people are using it in your company you would only need a single subscription.
