Not all hope is lost. The studio might be shut down but the devs are all still alive and kicking, and they’re probably all working on other projects in different studios I’m reminded of when some of the Hearthstone devs left and made their own deckbuilding videogame that was really good and popular

I would absolutely love to see some sort of spiritual successor in the future, even if it’s not a direct sequel. After playing this and Metal Hellsinger, I am desperate for more hybrid rhythm games.

Another example that comes to my mind is what happened to the guys at Konami who worked on some of the Castlevania games; they came together, left Konami and now made a spiritual successor series to Castlevania called Bloodstained, for both Metroidvanias and Classicvanias​@@KhaiShinryu

What bugs me about all this is that, why does Microsoft even buy all these studios if they don't want to upkeep them? Whats the idea here? Are they just scared of spending more than a million dollars on anything? Capcom and Nintendo have no trouble doing it, whats up with Microsoft, the most profitable tech company on Earth, being unable to do that with 3 times the budget. Heres a better question. Why hasnt 343i been laid off? You know, 343, those same asshats that keep fumbling the Halo series with gigantic incompetence? How come THEY keep their fucking jobs even when theyve bungled the bag since 2012, but Tango couldn't?
