I made this for every one of you who watch my videos, those of you who may be affected by this, and for myself. Having once worn a Just One Dime T-shirt, I know some might jump to thinking I’m trying to distance myself from the company, but that is not my goal. I am proud of the work I did for Just One Dime Amazon FBA Mastery. The aim of this video is simply to explain what my work for JOD entailed, my approach to everything I do on this channel, and share what I do know about what happened with the Just One Dime Done For You program. Thank you for watching my videos and I wish you a fantastic end to the year.
To any DFY investor managing their own store now, if there’s any specific training that would help with that, please comment below. I also linked some free resources and popular DIY FBA tutorials below. There’s also a ton of Amazon VAs who watch this channel by the way.

This is one of the toughest videos I have ever made. It's meant to answer questions I have been getting and give clarity on my work in AFM. It is not meant to defend what's happened with DFY. I feel terrible for those currently affected by the DFY situation. My hope is that everyone in DFY is made whole again. Although I wasn't involved with the DFY program at all, I know having worked on anything under the JOD umbrella does not look great right now. I accept that. I hope you see this is the last thing I would ever want to happen, there are 0 positives for me. I could keep quiet or I could make this video. I chose to make this video. To anyone in DFY managing their own store now, some ideas on what may aid the transition: - If there’s any specific training that would help, please comment below. - If you’re looking for a VA, I know a ton of Amazon VAs watch this channel and you may be able to link up in the comments. - I linked some free resources and popular DIY FBA tutorials in the description. To existing AFM members, from what I have been told AFM remains available to you and you will be notified prior to any changes in that regard. Wish I had more info but hope that helps. To everyone, thank you for your support this year and I wish you a power-packed 2023!

I remember that day in London when you presented at the conference. I could tell you were nervous and it was a great presentation, I could tell be your bleary red eyes you had been up all night worrying about being on stage but honestly from someone who’s spent many hours in stages in theatres and in conference halls I can hand on heart say you are a good public speaker. Nerves never go away, you just learn overtime to embrace them as a necessary part of the process of performance. Keep up the good work and really consider making your own course now, you have all the experience to pull off something powerful in the ashes of JOD with all the goodness they imparted to you.

the idea is not questioned, but when you sign over 1400 investors and collect millions of dollars, no business or refund option, then the integrity is questioned. Seth had good intentions, but did not deliver, cost many people to lose money for nothing. have no sympathy for him hopeful to get what he deserves. thanks for your honest opinion.

Dan please don’t defend JOD. $30+M taken. 1K investors. 3-4 brand builders. Real estate properties in the US, undisclosed apartments in Mexico and new construction in Guatemala and undisclosed Coinbase crypto account later found by the Trustees. Was there even 10 successful companies that Seth built? Find me 10…Do us a favor and find us 10 successful investors willing to share their story. It’s nice to see that Seth has the time to buy so many properties when people have waiting over a year and still haven’t gotten their product presentation.

These guys are the snake oil salesmen of our time and they want to continue, despite everything. Look at most of the comments here, it’s a whole fan base! There are people STILL defending Seth, saying he did not have bad intentions… I mean… lol.. I dont know if this merits laughter or tears, honestly. The level of gullibility is scary. These guys will continue as long as there are people willing to be groomed for a couple of years, deposit their trust in internet strangers, and ready to part with their hard-earned cash on too-good-to-be-true schemes. Coffeezilla said it best: risk for thee, none for me.

Hey chidawg66, I didn't make this to defend what has happened at all. My wish is for DFY investors to be made whole again. After a lot of questions/confusion amongst the audience, I hope you see why I needed to explain my work being completely separate yet under the same umbrella brand and I can see how that could make it come across as defending what's happened. It was not meant to.

I also bought into the DFY program, but we all know how that ended. I had hoped that at some point in my JOD AFM journey I'd get to meet you and have a pint. You have superb videos that were of great help to me. Terrific step by step detailed training. I met Seth a number of times, including at his first big conference in Vegas. Joined his online training, which was good, especially your content. I felt that his DFY promises and extreme cost would get him crossways with regulators. In any event, my thought is now that you’ve done this video, put Seth in your rear view mirror and don’t mention him again. Keep on with the high value material you do and know how appreciative I am. As an FYI, I used what I learned from you on proper listings, and was able to take a client’s one listing for a treatment for a not so common illness, from $138,000 a year to over $1 million a year. That’s for a single SKU that usually sells for $19.00. I did its initial pre-Amazon product launch (years before Amazon became a huge selling market) and marketing.

Great integrity to have done this, I worked as a contractor in another DFY project and there were definite short-comings and out of 10 customers I was directly involved, only 1 was truly profitable in the first 6 months (and that needed to be reinvested into inventory) and met the target of the sales pitch, selling on Amazon is a tough business model, although if all your ducks are in a row it can be very successful.

My thoughts: Seth Kniep does not have high ethics and the only people who keep saying this are people who received some financial benefit. From the public filing, it looks like Just one Dime paid you over $1,300 per week. Maybe you are biased? Perhaps Seth was a great person to work for, but that does not make him a good person. ‘Done for You’ was failing and Seth’s priority was to make more KZbin videos in order to keep taking millions. Seth also kept insisting to his investors that everything was fine when it wasn’t. Seth held monthly calls where he hid the chat feature so we couldn’t see all the complaints. Seth abruptly announced that he was ending Done For You and would not be giving refunds to people who never launched. He used millions of dollars of other peoples money as his own personal piggy bank. Then he filed for bankruptcy protection. You are an influencer Dan, and by default you gave credibility to the Just one Dime team, including their scam.

It's truly heartbreaking to see how so many people have been affected by the recent bankruptcy of this individual who has helped so many leave their 9-5 jobs since 2017. It's understandable that people feel betrayed and hurt by his financial downfall, but it's important to consider the possibility that he never intended to run off with anyone's money. Perhaps he truly believed that he could help these individuals and something unforeseeable happened along the way that caused his investments to go awry. It's also important to understand that facing 7 lawsuits and the possibility of owing millions of dollars is an incredibly daunting and stressful situation; it's not surprising that he may have gone MIA to avoid the overwhelming stress and anxiety. Let's try to approach this situation with empathy and understanding, and hope that a resolution can be reached for all parties involved.

Sometimes things just don't go to plan and my thoughts go out him and his family, I know they had only good intentions. Of course to the people that invested as well, I hope they can endure this setback and keep faith. Dan, I hope people understand and that your name stays clean through this. I've appreciated all your free content and clear instructions. Can you please make a video on how to navigate FBA in this current market, with supply chain issues, inflation, and saturation? Straight up, is Amazon FBA (PL/WS/OA) still a worthwhile business to get into? Would you in good conscience still recommend it as a successful route to take for anyone wanting to start their own business? Or is it way too saturated leading to people needing to make offshoot businesses like Seth did, which mostly seem to bomb out anyway?

Yeah I connect with you completely on the subjects you covered in this video. I was very surprised to hear about JOD and i completely agree with you about the tutorials that leave out information. I lost so much😊 money selling on Amazon for a number of reasons. Hopefully you get around to focusing on the positive lessons learned but the instructors that have no regard for having metaphorically led so many off the edge of a cliff. There’s no reverence in that regardless of their intentions. Because more than likely they were distracted to get listeners, views and ultimately paid subscriptions. I see a legal environment that’s ripe for a lot more law suits coming for these FBA gurus that charge high or exorbitant fees and have no idea how teach, not mention a decent syllabus thats constructive to a cohesive lesson plan. Much like the hemorrhaging you spoke of when another company discovered the emblem you were using was highly resembling of theirs and enough so that their case when filed would not only have merit but a high level of certainty that they’d win a settlement. To tie that in with what you’re saying, in other words if these gurus know subscribers aren’t able going to prosper as adeptly as they advertise then they have responsibility to address the misconceptions and if not then be held accountable for their negligent instruction.

Daniel, the fact that you're saying a guy (Seth) who scammed $50m+ from people is 'very honest' is absolutely insane. Seth recruited 3000+ people, despite NOBODY ever making money. Wake up, they are absolute scammers and frauds.

Typically I enjoy your style of teaching because you look for the wrongs in the process, you point out all the things you should look out for instead of looking at Amazon FBA through a rose colored glass. But continue on doing what you’re doing and I hope to see you develop even more than when you started, plenty of people would like to learn under you because you break everything down in a step by step process and you put yourself in the shoes of someone who is brand new with great explanation. Even with affiliation I’m glad you kept your part and stayed genuine on your behalf, thanks for forming the community you have before you. No doubt in my mind if you keep being yourself and keeping the truth you will expand more than ever. Best of luck

I looked at DFY but thought it was way to much risk for me, it was a deposit for a house with all that risk. I enquired, but the email was a bit salesie and really put me off as it was kind of aggressive. I like the concept, but the individual takes on to much risk, without any real due diligence done on JOD other then a KZbin video with people I don't know. No guarantees anywhere, no real proof. Im happy if things take time, but should be milestones and roadmaps, communication timelines etc. Theres a lot more.... But anyway Dan thanks for that, takes a lot of Kahunas to come and talk to the world and explain things AWESOME. Transparency is always the best policy, you only have one Dan Rogers name, there's a song in that I think. 😁

I thought JOD was suffering through trust issues well before the Done for You program. Seth is likely a very brilliant guy, but too aggressive and salesman-like in all of his videos. Partnering with Seth didn't feel like a natural fit for you and your style Dan. That being said, I think you should build your own course

Great video Dan! It's a fantastic video that clarifies and shed an accurate light on your involvement with JOD. I was convinced that you would not embed yourself with anything not legit, and I was right. You are one of the rarest genuine Amazon FBA coach there is, and I hope whoever blamed you for the situation JOD is in, will at least be convinced of your honesty and perhaps apologise to you. Keep up the fantastic work my friend!

Dan… I got half way in to this video and could tell that this video was all about telling those that lost out to JOD to take responsibility and to not blame anybody else (especially you). We are cool with that, but we are not cool with you not taking responsibility for having such a strong link with them and recommending their products to us. You played your part Dan, owning up to you mistakes also, will help you move forward.

Dan, did you never question in the past 2 years why there were no results of people actually making money in the DFY program? Being directly associated and employed by them, were you not interested in knowing? And when there were a lot of rumours spiralling that people were losing money, why did you continue to promote the company? At a concept level you're right, you can build a biz for someone else. But Seth never did this, and he kept on taking people's money despite getting nobody getting results. The fact is there are probably 100s of people that signed up to DFY because they saw one of your videos promoting JOD. You're as responsible for that as Seth is. Coffeezilla called this scam out 2 years ago and you turned a blind eye because you were milking JOD for 6/7 figures a year in affiliate revenue. Everyone in the Amazon space that isn't a TOTAL beginner knows automation services are a scam, including you. That's the truth.

@honest-fba
@honest-fba Жыл бұрын
@@SelfpredictionCombat So because he didn't specifically promote that part of the company he's not responsible for the 100s if people who joined because of him? He literally sent 10s of thousands of people to the JOD website and marketing funnel every single month. Those people bought the JOD course and were then up-sold the DFY program. He knew that was happening, he also very likely knew the program wasn't making anyone money and yet he continued to promote Seth and JOD. He literally promoted the company that was responsible people losing $50m+ and people like you are gonna defend him. He's not a stupid guy, he KNEW everyone he sent to JOD would be promoted the DFY program. He turned a blind eye because he was making crazy affiliate cash. I'd ask you if you're stupid if you can't work out how this whole things was working.

I worked at Nike at the basketball business unit. I had no idea what was going on in the Baseball business unit or Rugby. So, I worked for one company in one department and had no clue what was happening in other areas. So the same scenario could apply for Dan where he honestly was not aware of the BFY program. It's sad and appalling what happened to those who invested and lost their money in that program, but blaming Dan because he worked with JOD on a totally different area is ludicrous imo.

Hi Dan, I have always been a pretty good judge of character (No brag, just fact) It's my belief that both you and Seth genuinely want to see people succeed. That is why I started following JOD and you simultaneously because that coupled with your “natural” ability to teach and articulate was unmatched. Though many people will argue that the origin of what I'm about to say is outdated, I do not. This most notable saying is: “Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime”. This is the reason I believe that building something from scratch yourself, with all the right mentors is important. People will always have different expectations and will apply themselves differently. It has been said that even if you give a poor inexperienced person wealth, he will likely end up poor again. I have seen this for myself with persons related to me. I enjoyed this video, keep up the good work. I'm still with you !!

Why did you continue to promote Just One Dime despite the hundreds of negative reviews and complaints being posted online? Coffeezilla did a video on how the DFY scheme was a scam ~2 years ago, yet you still promoted this company. Would you promote Kevin David or any other company's products if you were aware that there were mounting complaints & stories of people being scammed by those same companies? Whilst I appreciate that you didn't proactively sell the DFY product, I think you have to take some responsibility in acting as social proof and promoting the JOD name & their products to your viewers.

Hey Janson, in truth I was focused on my work. I wasn't "in the loop" with this DFY program, it just was a whole different ball game so I wasn't aware of major problems until the collapse. In hindsight though, working in my bubble was a mistake and even though I wasn't working on that program specifically, I feel now that I should have kept more up to date with how things were going in other areas. If I had done so, I'm still not sure I would have been able to predict anything like this but it's a major lesson I learned here. As in the vid, I didn't think DFY was a scam, I had my concerns like how long this would take to build stores but just like the investors I never thought it was a scam. You have a point on social responsibility, that's partly why I made this video to explain what I do currently know and how I was involved with JOD. I did choose to work for JODs AFM and I did promote AFM. Perhaps naive but I can't see why someone would purchase DFY because of me, I never promoted it and have always said I prefer for sellers to build their own businesses. If anyone did DFY because I was a part of AFM, I can only hope they know I would have immediately ceased my relationship with AFM had I known things would end up like this with DFY.
