Did that with a 67 chevy 283 when I was about that age. I didn't have any acetone mixed with the trans fluid. I had to put a prybar on the flywheel. Worked both sides until it popped. Broke the tip off the prybar once. Tried the starter a few times. It wouldn't spin until I'd rotated that crank one whole revolution. One tooth at a time on the flywheel. Fired right up. It smoked and rattled for a bit. Dumped some transmission fluid down the carb while it was running to lube the valve stems. It ended up having a cracked block. But we ran it for 3 or 4 years before the crack got bad enough to give up on it. Nice try. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
