Question, and it doesn't have anything to do with this video. I have a Slifer The Sky Dragon. It's limited edition. It's holographic, am not sure if it's a secret rare or anything like that. It say's on the bottom left ~ This Card Cannot Be Used In A Duel. So just how valuable and or rare is it, if you're able to tell me that is ??? Oo.

@@nicklopez3133 If the back of the card is red, it is from the legendary collection or the GBI set from 2003. Depending on the set number on the front (LC01-EN004 I think or GBI-002), it's either a couple of dollars or upwards of $20, depending on the condition

@JamesBond00797 Thank you. I just checked. Back of the card is not red. The set number is YMA-EN00J, would you be able to tell me what that mean's. The edges wasn't in the best condition when I got this card but I figured I wouldn't pass up the opportunity because I had a feeling I wouldn't come across it again, or any card that say's This Card Cannot Be Used In A Duel. I've had this card since high school.

@Darth_ Madara yes and no. Gravekeepers were a complete deck on their own when they came out while toons only have about 10 cards or so when they came out

Archetypes in general kinda ruined the game for me. What fun is it when your deck choices are limited to the same set of cards? Before it was like, you just find a bunch of good useful cards like limiter removal, enemy controller, breaker the magical warrior, D.D. Warrior lady, etc etc and put them into a deck. It felt so much more creative. When I play an archetype deck though it's like, okay put in these 16 archetype monsters, 2 archetype boss monsters, okay now pick all the good magic and traps. Okay deck done. It's so fucking boring.

@@kevintyrrell7409 thats actually a pretty interesting take. I guess thats true. Once archtypes were big all the decks a built changed. It went from your fave cards with good support to complete themes. Makes deckbuilding easier but i agree it does ruin the parody and the unique way everybody played

@@jasonandrews1770 I agree. I was kinda iffy on chaos decks, because they always used the same set of cards. But at least with them, they had the entire light and dark set of monsters to choose from. Every new light and dark monster was a potential canidate for chaos decks. But now I imagine what people do is just 'hope' that their archetype gets more support in the future and magicially becomes good. That's just lame to me, personally.

fun fact don zaloog is a member of one of the first archetypes alongside the gravekeepers(not including protag archtypes i.e. dark magician, blue eyes, red eyes.) he is a dark scorpion. another fun fact, did you know six samurai have had cards going all the way back to LOB.

The classic Ring of Destruction+Barrel Behind the Door combo was one of the best. I had a duel that went like this: Opponent went first. Set spell/trap. Giant Orc End turn My turn Mystical Space Typhoon. Summon Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer Change of Heart Attack with Giant Orc (2200) Attack with Kycoo (1800) Main phase 2, set two cards. End turn Opponent draw phase Flip Ring of Destruction and Barrel Behind the Door on Giant Orc Game
