I'm starting to think that Marc's ability to bring the best out of people might be his super power, even more so than his amazing musical ability. I just can't get enough of the whole experience! Edit: It makes me sad to see some people hating on Poetry For Stoners, and sometimes some of the other artists that have stopped by. Poetry (for short) I have found is pretty damn respectful of Marc when he shows up, Poetry doesn't seem pushy or anything. And I can't blame him for wanting to get close to Marc! Who wouldn't want to do that?! How can anyone put down Poetry working hard? No one is going to 'make it' for him, he's got to work for it; and being part of this is a smart fucking way to get some exposure AND experience! So, it makes me sad to see some people's reactions. I can NOT in anyway blame any of the artists we've seen (repeated or not) for joining in and 'chasing' around Marc on Sundays to be part of the show again. Again, if you were a musician in NY, wouldn't you want to get a chance to jam with Marc at every chance? And Marc doesn't seem to mind, so I don't see why I should. Oh, and IMO, this was easily one of his top 5 live streams ever.

Saturday 6/3/23: 5:09 pm EST: home in NJ, on the phone with my sister who’s in Austin, trying to figure out how to get my kids and I to Marc’s “We Outside 6” tomorrow. 5:47 pm EST: Solemnly decide it’s too difficult to orchestrate with the kids…decide to stay home and watch the live stream while internally sulking. Sunday, 6/4/23: 11:37 am EST- phone rings. It’s my brother Big Daddy, whom I haven’t seen in over a year, asking what I’m doing today. 11:38 am EST: My reply, “I’m having you pick me and the kids up in Morris County NJ and then having you drive us to NY so we’re there when Marc announces his location.” 11:39am: Big Daddy replies, “sounds like a very specific adventure.” 1:29pm EST: Big daddy picks us up and we load ourselves, our kids, a ziploc baggie of hard boiled eggs, and six sticks of string cheese into the car. 2:30 pm EST: We arrive a block away from Union Square, Big Daddy parks with ease, grabs his trumpet out of the trunk we pour out of the car, run inside a pub to pee, then hightail it to the park to witness the Loop Daddy live. 3:07 pm: I give my almost-ten-yr-old daughter a 20 and steer her through the crowd shouting “excuse me, excuse me… She wants to give Marc a tip! “ 3:11 pm: we proceed to have one of the best days of our lives, EVER. I recognized Union Square the second the stream started, but Uber's weren't going the best way and both the N and R trains weren't stopping in Astoria at all. Had they been I wouldn't have hesitated as long as I did. But then the Uber rates got better and so did the route; was hoping he'd go 3 total hours but hearing the end, meeting ppl in the crowd, and enjoying the beautiful vibes was worth it!
