For bigger acreage I use my zero turn and a 60" pull behind offset deck mower. I cut 64 inches plus 60" on the deck mower each pass. I love that setup. Plus once you get use to the zero turn with a wider deck you can cut under your fence eliminating about 95% of you eat eating.

As someone who cuts yards as a side hustle when I’m not working. If you put mulching blades on your mower it will cut out a lot of having to mow spots twice. I use mulching blades all year long. Even on my push mowers

When we are doing a mainline grind and pave job we normally give the grindings for free if it is beneficial for us. We have an asphalt plant that uses recycled asphalt to produce new asphalt pavement so it normally all depends on cost. I will tell you that the grindings that you have will last forever and hold up!! A lot of people would prefer grindings because of cost and it lasts and after rolling it in is a hard surface!! It does suck that they arent trying to spread it out for you! We would come in with belly dumps and that would be so much easier for your grader!

I have a Kubota M8540 and a 3510 bush hog I love it and would definitely recommend it. I think the 8540 is between a M4 and M5 in HP. For sure would say tractor with loader over skid steer for the ranch.

Kubota makes a good tractor Ryno. The M4 and M5 series is a good choice for your needs. I also think a Ventrac would serve you good also Ryno for your ranch. They have multiple attachments for them to do exactly what you need to do on the ranch.

When you buy a zero turn for the ranch, I highly suggest the Hustler brand. The Raptor 52” is a homeowner model that I’ve used for the 7 acres on our farm when the 72” commercial grade mower was down. Kubota has a ton of attachments and is a good brand, I’ve run the Mahindra and think have better bang for the buck, all the attachments you need, more ergonomic design, easier to maintenance, and have better numbers for breakout force on hoe and bucket attachment. Just my unsolicited opinion lol

Personally have a Kubota M4-071 deluxe cab for two years now love it. It has about 500 hours on it lots of power have tons of attachments for it like in Grappler ,forks ,brush hog ,grading scraper ,ploughs ,disc and Bucket would highly suggest getting rear wheel weights and maybe even having a ballast box as I have both while lifting heavy loads it stables the tractor a lot makes it easy to move around with heavy loads in the front

I’m my opinion you need to look into a 3r or 4r series John Deere I own a 4052r John Deere on 18 acres of land love the thing to death. John Deere is more expensive than Kubota but it’s worth every penny. Tractor time with tim is another good channel To watch.

I've used stihl for 35 years we have a mile of fence along the road then much more cross fences and buildings to go around. It took us a couple curved shaft style to figure out the straight shaft is the premium ones. A few years ago I bought a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke Huskivarna they suck took them back and got stihl . Will never own anything but stihl

Get a kubota zd1021 if you get a zero turn. It’s a diesel and works the best. I use it for my lawn care company and it never gets hot like gas mowers. I run hours and hours at a time and it never even gets hot. And it also doesn’t burn through fuel. The diesel lasts about 20 hours before filling up with 5 gallons!

Go check out the Kubota MX6000 with a front end loader and have them install a 3pt top and tilt. The Kubota 1872 brush cutter works very well behind it, and as for grading work look into the grader scraper. I work for a dealership in Oklahoma and we sell an absolute ton of them. The warranty is bar none!

You get what brand you have the best support network near you. If it's Kubota, case, John deere ect. In the Midwest where I'm at it's the big 4, Case, John deere, Agco, Cat. In my area they have the best support network and there's factories within a couple hours of us. So get one that has really good service and support in your area. Dozer wise I could see a d5 size for you. Light enough, but enough umpfff for what you do. Keep an eye on auctions, forest service and others auction stuff off in your area.

I wouldn't use a zero turn in that I would buy a tractor with a pull behind brush hog. I have about a 15 acre yard in Ohio and I use a Kubota with a Land Pride 60 inch finishing pull behind and honestly that's to small and takes me hours. I need a dual pull behind. A brush hog leaves to many clumps for a yard but is good for the other 60 acres of my property.

Cub cadet is a consumer or home owner model. Go to a pro shop where contractors go to and test out some commercial or professional grade equipment. Also you never see any pros use curve shaft trimmers for a reason. Echo equipment is notorious for being cold blooded. Always use the choke for starting unless its like 90or so. Stihl trimmers have a vent on top of the fuel tank that goes bad and will allow the fuel to soak the air filter with fuel making it harder to start.

I feel you on the "curved shaft" wire trimmer. Those are no good! I was a landscaping contractor for many years and always used the straight shafted Sthils. Cant beat those. The Sthil you have looks pretty good, probably jut needs a new carb. Worth the $20 investment to replace that tiny carb. :)

I don't know what it is about dump truck drivers and them feeling the need to run with in radio distance of each other. But after more than 25 years of loading and unloading them. I can't get them to run separate from each other to time the dump , spread, dump next truck. But everytime you dump them and space them out to keep a steady stream of dump, spread dump spread. They feel the need to team up and run convoy on the way to and from.
