Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 7th tier of English football, the Isthmian League North. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. In 2023 we won the Isthmian League North and will now play in the Isthmian Premier!
We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 3rd tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division, after they also won their league in 2023. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams, an inclusive team and a walking football team...plus our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. I was at this game yesterday (you even caught my ugly mug on camera getting a cheeky pint before kick off lol). Still buzzing at the result. The lads played so well and we fully deserved the 3 points. Didn't realize _just how close_ Horsham were to equalizing right at the end there as we were all at the other end of pitch behind the other goal, but man....the joy and relief when PK put that 2nd goal away moments later was massive! I mean, you could see the reaction from us! We were all buzzing! Hopefully this result gets our season back on track! Up the Tags! Gotta say as well, Horsham have a fantastic set up there! Lovely little ground, great public transport links, amazing ale, friendly fans and staff, great support with a MASSIVE crowd turning up (1,587), and that minutes silence was impeccably observed. Well impressed with Horsham and thoroughly enjoyed the day out (the 3 points definitely helped too lol). I'll certainly be cheering them on against Barnsley on Tuesday!

Why Alfie cue is starting every week when you have AT on the bench really surprises me. AT comes on to do a job and does more and creates a comfortable lead.
