Really hyped for Pocket to release. I think some members of my own family are even tempted in given it a go, which is really cool. I'm sure this game could go down really well with not just the pokemon fans, but also with your average joe who has even just a hint of interest in either pokemon, trading games or just collecting in general. I believe it's got a lot of potential to be a really big hit.😁

I hope this game explodes, explodes in the way that they do a lot of updates and pay attention to keep the game alive and going! Also, i hope that if that happens, they come out with their own collection cards we can buy physically and scan for this game only, to keep it separate from the global TGC Like this i can have my own small world of tcg and start from 0 ❤.

Cannot wait for this game. An exciting mechanic would be if every card has a 1 in 4096 chance of the Pokémon in the artwork being Shiny. And for Shiny cards, 1 in 4096 chance of the Pokémon being its regular form.

Beautiful video🎉 One thing about last discussion/complain "pokeball card is different, why?"... Well of course. Like pokemons are different in terma of hp, attack, reatreat cost ecc...supporter card must be very restrictive like draw 7 card in a deck of 20 is CRAZY 😂 its ok pokeball search randomly, like professor oak draw only two card (anyway this professor is BROKEN, draw two card on 20 is a lot), like Sabrina (in Italy is sabrina) that is similar to Boss card in TCG but is your opponent that choose his pokemon that switch on the benched

Quick question: because the pass reduces the timer from 12h to 8h per pack, will you only need 4 gold or 8 hourglasses to open a pack with the premium pass, or will those only reduce the timer by 40m so you still need 6 gold / 12 hourglasses?

That’s a super good question, the premium pass did not work in our demo to test

Another creator (spragels) said that he asked a Pokemon rep about this. Apparently the premium pass doesn't reduce the timer, it actually just adds a separate timer that gives the extra pack every 24 hours. It doesn't sound like this separate timer can be reduced, since the concept of the pass is an extra pack a day, so it wouldn't make sense to be able to reduce that one.

they should add a feature where sometimes the pack doesnt open very easily and you fuck the whole thing up and then accidentally rip the corner of the rare card.

Pocket sounds like a lot of fun, but I can't see myself investing more time into another collection game. Between Go and Sleep, I'm already spending too much time on my phone trying to catch 'em all. 😅

My question: If I want to open my two packs at 10:00pm every day but i am late for some reason by half an hour. Does that mean the next day I can only open my two packs half an hour later? And then if i'm half an hour late the next day it gets delayed again to 11pm? This might eat into my bedtime for Pokemon Sleep. Edit:spelling

I suggest you just login twice a day as the game allows you to open one pack every 12 hours and the timer won’t count down once you have 2 free packs ready. Just open a pack before you go to bed and another time next morning when you play Pokemon sleep.

I am slowly going from "I don't get the appeal" with TCG Pocket, to being like "wait, if they're making original cards and mechanics for it, why does it follow the same rules for types and mechanics in the first place instead of doing its own thing from scratch??
