yeah for real, 24th is nuts. the spurs are really developing an identity as a strong defense who can actually close out games and come from behind. a few pretty bad losses (specifically LAC and Utah) but i dont think there was a single person who expected them to beat OKC without their 3 best scorers. 16 (where issac put them) is maybe a little bit higher than i might go personally, but as of now i dont think theres really a reason they shouldnt be top 20

@@sogegspurs fully healthy are no less than 12. The only team I would put above them in the east is Boston. No one else in the east seems better built. Personally, I don’t see eight teams that are better than them in the West but I would be okay saying the overall power ranking would be 12th.

@ that’s where we disagree only the Celtics and maybe the Cavs are better. I will still take a fully healthy Spurs team over a fully healthy Magic team. Healthy Knicks are nowhere near as good as the healthy Spurs. Only time will tell and I don’t think it will become obvious for another few months yet. February will be a good time to check back for a comparison.

isaac, mathurin is rebounding amazingly. He’s been one of the best rebounding guards in the league. Literally averaging 8 rebounds a game as a starter. His defense has also been much improved. He’s about a league average defender now with way more potential on that end
