@@geoffcallicott2060 If that is aimed at me, the damage caused by wild, (actually illegal) campers was so bad in Cornwall, and other places in the UK last year it made news headlines and was the subject of parliamentary debate. Where I live there are large notices at the entrances to SSSIs, NO OVERNIGHT PARKING, NO CAMPING. These were total ignored and damage done so bad that in some cases will take ten years to recover. Human excrement and rubbish were left everywhere. Fires were lit on the ground not only causing long term damage but creating a serious fire hazard. My wife and I do wild camping ourselves and the frankly hooligans have wrecked it for everyone in Cornwall. It is no problem to tidy up after yourselves and Bog-In-A-Bags are cheap.

You picked an amazing year to visit 2022 spent most of summer there, it wasn't as good this year as a slight cool wind and mostly rain and cloud but still lovely but 22 was exceptional and you take your chances every year so good luck . You are right about the climb down, very steep ,rocky and you really need to be careful , not for the faint hearted and glad you thought about the pets . If you visit get your kit off and enjoy . Take your rubbish and pet poo away . Leave no trace on this beach or any others tbh we are proud to have it clean .

Vanhold! Love it. Great scenery. Seeing the open land slope steeply, and sometimes, abruptly to the Sea's edge, remind me of my dreams when I'm 1st learning to fly in them. No wonder you have forest fairies over there! Enchanting landscape, indeed you 2 make me so jealous I'm bogged down in Mortgage and CC debt. Yeah, I have some, nice, things, but I hitched hiked from NY to Mexico, and found it so 'freeing" .I went out into the world and asked every stranger to take care of me, and they did. During the 1st leg of my journey from upstate NY to NYC, I was camping homeless in Central Park while Son of Sam was popping his cork. Newspaper stands, were everywhere and refilled every day, so the NEWS was helping. I never worried a moment, as I was not a target.

You two are a delight, and I am feasting on your vlogs and thoroughly enjoying every one of them. This part of Cornwall is very similar to where I live in France. My house is in the bay of Mont St Michel, therefore very close to Brittany and the côte d'émeraude with beautiful coastal scenery similar to Cornwall. At the top of the Cotentin Peninsula, it is more like Ireland, and gorgeous! Years ago, I went to Cornwall a few times. It was when the original Poldark was shown, I loved Mevagissey, St Michael's Mount (one of 4 or 5?) St Yves , but like Emily I do not like heights. I am looking forward to the video of your new Irish property. I agree with Emily, isolation is all very well, but not too much of it. I bought and renovated a wreck in France when I lived in London. Very rural, but on the edge of a village, and I am so glad that I did. I am in awe of Louise's skills, especially the mechanics! Well done girls, you are an inspiration! I like both styles of information video segments. The details are there for those who are interested or we can just enjoy the views. A roast dinner in a van is a treat. Donuts are essential on any trip. They hit the spot that others things just don't come close to. I always take bagels and oatcakes too. The bagels last ages and can have so many fillings to make ideal lunches or snacks. Oatcakes last a long time unopened and are great with dips. Food is so important on trips, necessities, as Captain Sensible says. Buy the food that you need for a happy trip. Fun facts are good.

Truly appreciate your pep talk on being respectful about parking up. There are a lot of locals who actually live that lifestyle full-time out of necessity for financial reasons or lack of affordable housing etc. We did it ourselves for 5 years & did accounting, and bookkeeping & worked as a care support workers for people with autism. We would still be living that lifestyle but sadly our health deteriorated & couldn't drive our 3tonner & have been working on getting that back. Because our van was a self conversion just looked like an Argos delivery van until lifted up the back roller, then there was a banister rail, window box & stained glass windows. A lot of locals who would normally put their noses up (that right expression) at van dwellers wouldn't happen with ours as Yihny was a piece of artwork created from our heart. like yours a bit we feel. we painted Yihny teel with a 4-inch roller lol a lot to cover. but other friends who lived that way when sitting on our porch said people's reactions to ours were so different to when in their van! So again truly appreciated hearing your awareness and integrity with respecting our home & advising others to too & explaining why as that enables people to understand & hopefully do the same! loved these last 2 vids for many many reasons as the south is where we spent 10 days over 2011/2012 having a bit of an isolation internal exploration with the standing stones retreat thing which turned out the route we took our mum had taken 28 years previous and where we broke down on Xmas day on this corner farm with a fugel is where she used to stay on her native American workshops so was a really healing connecting trip with her as she committed suicide when we were 4 and seeing this again has triggered memories of this time which have been really beneficial for us with our healing. St Micheals's mount was one of our regular park ups (one could park on side of the road by the beach then) & where we stayed with an x which lou your energy reminds us of him so so many connecting links here which is just what we need! Blessings to you both sweethearts! XXXXXXXXX

Welcome to my end of the country. Hope you're having a fantastic time. Thank you for being so respectful to Cornwall. It's just a shame a lot of people don't bother. Kind regards

Great vid as always. And great message about treating park-ups with respect. If we don't, we will be the ones that will suffer. If you brought it, you can take it away!
