Love your videos. Let us know how they do. Right now I am getting 22 pounds of boost from each Turbo from the stock ones. Do you know how much boost each one is making?

Thank you so much dude for your gift! I pinned your comment to the top!!! If you’re making 22 psi in total that’s probably 11 psi from each turbo.

@@BoostKingMatt Oh is that it? Because in my .csv logs and also when I watch it on my JB4 app it shows Boost 1 21.7 and Boost 2 21.9 so thats why I say that but maybe they do it different on the Jb4 app.

I’m asking Adam. I’ll message back what he says.
@BoostKingMatt13 күн бұрын
@DRAGONWARRIOR2 this is what Adam told me. “The discharge pressure is the same coming out of each turbo. It's too hard explain without talking about. But it comes down to flow. The more air you try to flow through the engine the harder it is and the higher the pressure goes. So the air flow is additive but the boost pressure is a byproduct.”

I got my new turbos installed a couple of weeks ago . I'm so glad I didn't attempt the job myself. It turns out a stud broke off in the block . If that had happened to me, I'd be screwed because I don't have a welder. This job looks so aggravating. Its Awesome you took the time to make this video and show us . I don't have a 3rd gen, but I'm still interested in any ecoboost build .

Stud broke off in the block? You mean in the manifold? Unless they removed the manifolds too…
@saulgoodman919314 күн бұрын
@BoostKingMatt They removed the turbos and the manifolds. When I picked it up, they said one of the studs broke . I'm pretty sure it was one of the manifold studs , it's a pretty common failure for the first gens . I'll find out for sure when they upload the video .
@saulgoodman9193 dang. I want some of those for my 2022

Just got a 22 tremor with the 3.5, and im wanting to do the same, upgrade the turbos. Had a 2019 with the 3.5, and with a tune, it was night and day better than stock,

Get the Stage 4 turbos or Stage 5 from CR Performance. They are the best turbos on the market for these trucks.

How much power you plan on making with your new build? What did you do to your new block, to keep it together?
@BoostKingMatt12 күн бұрын
Oh, somewhere around 540 wheel hp. Engine is stock.

Funny story, when I did my downpipes on my '19 2.7, one nut on each side came off by hand...I was floored. Since one on each side was so easy to take off, the nut on the other side came off with minimal effort. There were no exhaust leaks either with how loose they were. Cant tell you how many times I've had to blast pene-oil or heat them up on other vehicles. I had an 02 GT that we had to burn off because of how rusted it was. Do you still have the 2.7 turbos? Any plans on selling them? Keep up the good work!

Wow that’s wild. I dont have any 2.7 turbos left sorry.

What exhaust manifolds are you running?
@BoostKingMatt14 күн бұрын
Stock. I want the Formline manifolds though…
@TimothyLining-pb3qz13 күн бұрын
Yikes-u need either BD, CR, or formline, as the stk manifolds are chocking u out. Best to you. I should have done a channel with everything I’ve done to my exp. 4.0 0-60 12.25-1/4, before the new motor just installed
