Some people say it was retconned, some say he framed some rando(One common idea circa FNAF 2 was the guy in the Foxy Suit in the Go Go Go minigame), some used to say Phone Guy, but Henry seems like the logical choice given how after the mid 80s he vanishes from the story until the 2020s, presumably in jail.

This is great! I loved it and loved watching it! One note - however. Yes: book Afton is markedly more insane. But in The Fourth Closet, he does refer to himself as a "man of science", as he's experimenting on the endoskeletons of the old animatronics and trying to physically fuse himself with them because he thinks it'll give him eternal life. While the word "remnant" doesn't come up in the books, and I can't remember if "agony" does, I think it's heavily implied that Afton's trying to achieve the same ends as the games, but he's more unhinged about it. That said, I prefer the manipulative, cold side of Afton the games present to us in various short depictions of him. I think the book goes very overboard with his motivations and insanity. Which sucks because I liked how he was presented up until The Fourth Closet - that one killed it for me. But he's got the same goals in both mediums.
@Sandwichly

@@Sandwichly For sure! Crazy Afton is like, turn the dial up to 11 on the crazy stuff and lose track of his actual sane goals. When I read that he was trying to fuse himself with the endoskeleton in The Fourth Closet, I was like "... ooooo...kay.... so he's psychotic...?" lol Cold calculating killer with a goal that's just explore remnant / agony to either explore bringing his kids back OR understanding independent eternal life is the better depiction. And him doing it find a way to bring back the crying child or Elizabeth is my headcannon because it at least makes him a bit more human and nuanced. The books lost sight of that because it retconned him having a family and potential goals pertaining to them lol Give my beloved serial killer some depth damnit! ;)

I really enjoyed the video, especially the editing. But i think a simple way to improve it would be to change the font your using for most of the video. You already have great animations, and the images you picked are pretty great quality. I just think picking a different font would make it seem like your more experienced and established. For some font and just general reference I would look at game theory, which you probably know about since your editing style seems to be influenced by theirs. 1: 14 - You know how this could’ve ALL been avoided? If Willy boy didn’t kill those kids and just went about his life and grew his legacy by being a good father, entertaining kids, and selling hot greasy food to the masses on children’s birthday parties. But no, he just HAD to kill those kids and for what? So he could end up as a raggedy, wheelchair bounded, on life support, old man in a rabbit suit decaying like a rotting corpse he is. No matter how you slice it, he’s guilty on all accounts. I came from your video on his son, but I see that he wasn’t covering up for his father, but rather re-kill him so Henry can rest easy knowing that William can’t escape the clutches of the Devil. As Henry once said “Although, for one of you. The darkest pit of Hell has opened to swallow you whole. So, don't keep the Devil waiting, old friend.” Not only does William deserve the jail time, but also the express way ticket to that reservation that the devil has for him.

Honestly, I think the couch person was actually Henry as he was looking after Micheal after the bite of '83. William could've asked Henry to look after his son as a distraction so William could kill Charlotte.

The entire fnaf timeline wouldn't have happened if william afton was never born
@jhtoxic7870
@jhtoxic7870 Жыл бұрын
For as accurate as you were, there there were several mistakes here. 1. William was arrested and charged for his crimes. however, like his novel counterpart, the authorities couldn’t fully convict him because the bodies of the victims were never found. Thus there was no actual evidence he committed the crime so they were forced to let him go. 2. The child Afton was yelling at in the midnight motors. Minigame was most likely the crying child. The character encyclopedia confirms. He was the one being haunted by the nightmare animatronics and you can clearly see one of the nightmares footprints in the backyard of his house. This means that Charlie’s death had to have taken place before his son’s death. Meaning, he had no motivation for what he did at least not that we know of.

I made it very clear I used RyeToast's timeline. I used it because it more game based and understandable for Average FNAF fans.

4:20 you know in FNaF 2 the dayguard that worked the night shift before Jeremy mysteriously left during the investigation perhaps that's Afton finally getting caught and comvicted (he could've been released before 1988 due to lack of evidence as implied in the Silver Eyes)
