Is the release of this new game mode slightly fucked? Yeh it is. But it doesn’t seem too far off being a good mode once bungie makes some changes from community feedback. It’ll be 2 1/2 years before those changes are implemented, but it’ll be good when it happens.

I like how both of you are naive about damage model changes, the games has crazy amount of aim assist on bow with controller, it’s the map and players amount causing bow issues, cheap damage is just cherry on top.

This gameplay specifically pointed it out that people can literally play bow and back paddling every gunfights once the team capture zone, and it’s so hard to take the zone back with only three players, please play more objective mode 🤷‍♂️

if you're young or just didn't play fps games when objectives were a thing, yeah king of the hill (and by extension, hardpoint) is pretty much salvage from d1 if you didn't get score for frags and don't have to activate the satellite thing
