I just did rails in my heavy haul day cab , it was double railed. I went 1/2" single rail. I have another truck to do once that truck is out of the way. And I just put air ride on the front of my 379 this weekend.

Had a friend that did that 30 years ago, but his rails came punched from the factory to match his truck but with just more wheelbase. Cost a fortune 30 years ago, probably 3 or 4 times ass much today. I personally would have taken the sleeper off then cut & stretch under the sleeper & between the fuel tanks nobody would ever see it has bee stretched.had a another friend that did it that way. I wouldn't want to see the weld either but this is crazy expensive especially without the rails punched, even with a magnet drill going to be lot of work.

Wheelbase has got to be divisible by 3 for best ride . I personally would go 333
